Is anyone else suddenly receiving a lot more 'junk' mail. Not junk mail in the normal sense of the word but just stuff that someone had randomly decided to send? In the last 3 days, I've been offered 2 loans (by the same bank) totally £36k, OH has had balance transfer CC cheques come through from 2 different people and it's just more stuff that I have to shred!!!

    afternoon all
ave had a good day, not done a lot at home except dailies, but I did go to the gym this morning, so am v pleased with myself.
Food wise I have been very good all day.

Has anybody made these piadine things http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=319790&highlight=piadines
I am going to give them a try tonight, we get through a crazy amount of tortilla wraps in our house, and they are a pound a pack so this seems like a very easy and much cheaper method. We already quite often dry fry them and have as quesadillas which even DH loves (and he is a right fuss pot). He always wants guacamole with it though - an extortionate £1.50 a tub at the moment and he's the only one who will eat it. So I bought an avocado and I am going to make him some instead. This bizarrely is another Hm thing he prefers. Normally he would rather eat worms than anything HM :rotfl:

Yes, but charges are up to them - surely they can waiver those just by saying the word???

I didn't want to name names because she's not here today.

Personally I think it's a 'try on' and if they can get the bank customer to foot the bill they will - if you protest though they should cover the costs. It's their own fault - they have these systems which can be broken. That's why SOME banks ask you to let them know when you are abroad.... I mean - we have NO choice but to use a bank. Most places don't take cheques now, we are paid by BACS so the banks need to make their systems more rigorous and less vulnerable to fraud. And they will do this when it starts to cost them. The customer should only have to pay if they have been stupid and have given information they shouldn't have done. But if criminals are getting into accounts by number crunching how can the customer be held responsible?

Now beds to make. Toots :p go thank some posts:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just having 5 minutes and a catch up.

Went to see mum and she was fine although I noticed a difference with the smoking. She wasnt so keen today although said she wanted one.

Got to my DDs then realised I still had mums cigs in my pocket. So walked back there before coming home. Then walked to Asda and back. So thats my exercise for the day.

Mudbath Thats good news on the walk. take it slowly though. Happy Birthday to your DS.:bdaycake:

Liberty9515 Happy Birthday to you. :bdaycake:
