I am just necking a cuppa and decluttering some heroes (only 6) I had a massive blood sugar crash as I was walking home from school.. they are getting a bit frequent for my liking!!

Tiddles fell asleep on the sofa at 2:30 and I picked her up.. put her in her coat.. put her in the buggy and we are back from school and she is still snoring!

Right I have a challenge for you all. I want you all to come up with really good reasons as to why I have the following on our computer desk:-

-- Jug thingy to fill up the water in the iron!

Perfectly reasonable - don't all desks have these? Mine does!

Ok I have a question for you. If you took a picture of the room you're sitting in at the moment, would you feel happy showing it to people?

  • I don't think I've ever loved so intensely since.... :o *oh dear, I've come over all emotional*

That is so sweet - My first love went to live in Australia (trying to tell me something? :p )and I cried for days, but I was only 8 at the time...

I was reading 'Dear Fatty' again last night and DF was saying about her first proper kiss - the book is all letters to different people and she wrote to her first love, similar feelings to you Sarah - only put in that way only she can, it was really funny and lovely at the same time.

Then I got emotional as I got to another letter to her dad - sobbed my heart out (welling up now..) as she had exactly the same thoughts as I had with my dad - strange what noises set you off eh! Hubby came up 1/2 hour later and said, have you been crying? and gave me a big hug, coz my eyes were still red and puffy... haven't done that for AGES, think it did me good, but probably why I was so tired today... :o

You too Valls!!!!!! I have hated being so behind on Fred! Spent all week, days behind, never catching you all up. :( Should have given up much sooner!!! I think I got all OCD about it!!

    And

Fank you, fank you very much! *takes small bow!* I love those bits of advice... the third one, which I didn't include previously - because I didn't want Gryfon to think it was directed at her... which it certainly isn't -

    3) No-one will ever be as fascinated by your children as you are.

    and the saddest one:

    4) you will always love your children more than they will ever love you. :( Sad but profoundly true!!

    SS
    xx

    i don't know about number 4!!
