Aw mudbath - you know what it's like when your due date isn't far off. I seem to remember enthusiastically cleaning out my chest freezer when I went into labour with the last one!

    ah bless you toots thanks.
I did leave with no little pangs of reget at all though.
And I tell you they were like vultures.
One guy was hanging round my desk as I was packing up but he wasnt really chatting, normally we chat about TV like Lost and 24 and stuff, we'd exhausted those topics and he was still loitering. As I left the front door I saw him and another guy go and start unplugging my monitor and moving my chair - I wasn't even out of the bl00dy building!!

Ditto that - did you choose to leave?
Thanks. Yes I handed in my notice before Christmas. Was only doing 15 hours, split over 3 school days but I have 3 small children (5,4,1) and it was so hard trying to fit in work, house, shopping, and the children's demands. Difficult decision. I've never not worked since leaving Uni and even during school and Uni I had part time jobs most of the time. So it feels a bit weird.

    Evening ladies and gent :)

Busy evening so haven't had chance to catch up properly, but I will try to.

    ella
pleased you got sorted, I don't blame you with going local, can be sucha massive price difference
ragz well done on the room, looks great
ragz/nicki we have a laptop that does that, you can get new batteries. I always run mine off the mains whenever possible (removing the battery) to reduce damage to the battery from constant recharging
Mudbath wohooo caravan! We've had a few on our freecycle in the last few months
toochoosey howling can sound a bit like a mooing noise, probably that. When Holly had her kennel cough she sounded like a cow when coughing, more of a cooo than a mooooo. If your dog is male and that one is female and in season, he'll probably behave differently :rotfl: mine can clear 6.5ft nooooo problem!
Dusty thank you, I am getting there, it's better than it was, but not how I want it. With the bedrooms it's just too easy to close the door :o
JillD ignorant pigs, oh well best of out of it, I am so pleased you have enjoyed your first week, when they are driving you mad we'll remind you of post 2058 in the 5th January thread!

Just made myself a riceless risotto, I REALLY wanted Kaz's bacon and peas risotto, but couldn't find my rice (have found it now) so chucked Ebly in instead, really nice actually :D uses up some of that too as I have 2 boxes full. Back hasn't been right all day, took pain relief and slept 12-2 so must have needed it! Not good news Nissan reducing jobs, we have quite a few friends who work for them :( just wondering which if any will be jobless soon, they said they are going to try to get 800 voluntary but I can't see that happening. It's getting worse here. We had the 'what if' chat yesterday, about if DPs job goes bottom up (it is VERY quiet at the minute, he's actually on his way home it's so quiet), it's mainly the extras we'd have to do without, then if it was longer term consider loosing my car/caravan first. He's managed to get a sponsor today with my help for one of the classes he races in which is a plus, means he will get the stuff at discount. I just worded things well for him :D This means he'll do what he always does at about 40% less running costs! I'm making cut backs where possible aswell.

Luke's getting there eventually with his bed, he gives me a horrid look every time I tell him to get down from the sofa but seems very cozy on it once he gets there. Oh well will keep it up and see if we get there, he hasn't destroyed it which is what he would have done 2 years ago......time will tell....

Done a few bits tonight, boys bathed and hair treated (for their bad cradle cap dandruff stuff) washer load out on airers and another in, DW load in and on, 3 cupboards sorted through in kitchen (because I was looking for risotto rice and found something well out of date) I was pleased with that as found some things I forgot I had inc sachets of yeast, rice, pasta etc but disappointed in myself for the waste. I've got DS2s swimming stuff ready for tomorrow, he had a little sticker on his top 'a note from my teacher to remind me to bring my swimming kit tomorrow' which I thought was a great idea. Done some banking. Tidied the bathroom and removed more clutter from my room.

Right, well I best get DS2 a bag found for tomorrow, make packed lunches, kick dog out for a tiddle then bed time me thinks, goodnight all x x x
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
