Just read your diary. Things are going well for you. Hope the car people are sorted. We managed to pay ours off early and have reset the direct debit towards one of the ccs. It was a good feeling.

  • Well thanks to Buffy I have restarted my diary - i don't know where the last month has gone!

Happy Pad has been updated - current position
    • I am slightly off on where I want some payment dates
    • 2 payments left on the car
    • scratch card going up very slowly but every little helps
    • finished both ironing baskets at weekend - then did washing :rotfl:
Last month I was really happy in my new job and completely focused but something has changed and it is really playing in my mind - don't worry its nothing bad:p

I have a small S/E business that I have been running for 5 years, started as hobby 9 years ago, and we may have the chance next year to become "tied" to one company as they don't want anyone else to use our services. This has been a dream but I need to earn a certain amount each month to make it work. We havent been too badly hit by the credit crunch with this business so far.

So now I am having to relook at targets
    • I still want to clear £5K
    • I still need to replace family car - cash only
    • Need some emergency savings eg 3 months bills
Will have a good think and post up new action plan.

    Me x

PS Declutter kind of going in right direction :rotfl::o

Keep going - you are doing well to come back to your diary and still positive we see.
  • Thanks Angela!

I really need the diary again to focus thoughts. Happy Pad has all the numbers and dates in it but the diary is waffling when I need it to get my thoughts in order.

I just really hope that I can still do this years original target and the rest would be a bonus :D

Scratchcard is now only 50p off payout but they must be desparate as site has had free bingo for 2 days now. I have not joined the free bingo just in case I hit the wrong button and spend by mistake:eek:

    Have a good weekend all.

  • We had a lovely weekend despite people having coughs and colds but the closer it got to today DH became very ill again. He is back towards a nervous breakdown again and I know my new job is a big part of that.

I am so torn between the money from the new full time job and the time we had together when I was part time.

My full time hours are also affecting the time i can spend on my part time business.

My new plan is as follows: See how little we can live on without being destitute to see if when my years contract ends I can go fully Self employed.

Have certain things we need to buy this year. The rest would be saved. Need to look at some of the challenges. If I don't do this I don't know if I will have a DH.

Fingers crossed (for still having DH I mean :rotfl:)

I think it is time for you to get a large piece of paper and some coloured felt tips and do some brainstorming.....
