  • Its a box of items that various companies pay the Royal mail to deliver for us to try. It comes once a month, I signed up yesterday and will get a box in April. There is a link on Hypnos diary, somewhere around page 122, sorry i dont know how to link to it.

Spent last night dreaming of money - unfortunately I was dreaming about debts I dont even have!! I think its because I had been looking at numbers and dates in the hope that if we could clear everything in 10 years, plus have savings we may be able to move house with no mortgage - I only want 3 bedrooms and storage space - not much to ask.

i think it would take focus as it would also mean paying off mortgage 6 years early and home loan 3 years early - but neither are for huge amounts so it could be possible - but there is a large amount of unsecured debt to clear too. I have now added these details to my little book - i'll soon need a stash of little books as its getting full with lots of notes and challenges!!!!!!!!!!

With a bit of MSE determination and focus, you WILL be able to achieve the things that you want to......

I read your post earlier, and I am glad that you are so focussed on getting your debt shifted, as well as having a plan for what to do once you are debt free! good luck with it all

And I really feel for your colleague she must be mortified now

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • My colleague doesnt know yet that we all heard it - I guess she will only be back once her nursery fees are paid, until then she will get Dr's notes so she can still get paid.

Thanks for all your support - I've just looked at the figures again - OCD has set in!!!!! I am going to go for it - lets just hope MSE doesnt close between now and then as if we manage it I will do a whole post of these :j.

DH loves the area but has never liked our house - it was built "on the cheap" and he would love to move - I havent mentioned the 10 years challenge - he will think I am mad!

MSE won't close.....it is only going to get more and more necessary over the next few years I think.

As for a 10 year plan - I have been making 10 year plans since I was at school - it is what keeps me plugging away! Go for it!

  • MSE is getting busier all the time, you only have to see how many posts are being made in the space of a day. I would have that one day (in a positive kind of way) that MSE wouldn't be needed as we wouldn't have DCA's, massive debts and irresponsible lenders etc, but I don't think that will ever happen. So in the meantime go :money: !

Well, I have updated my sig again as another bit paid off. My little book has a new name..........

  • Hey Buffy, good of you to join!

No point in being down - there are enough people in my family who take on that role.

I am realising that having a pay day that isnt right at the end of the month is a big psycological bonus as you never get that end of month feeling at the same time as everyone else so it doesnt rub off - if you get what I mean!

Will have more to update next week but just need to clear last of Council Tax first.

    Keep smiling all,
