Hiya did you watch the lost finale last night?
OMG!! how good was it - although I'm still totally confused! I do have a bit of a theory now though...

I watched it but am none the bl**dy wiser as to what is going on.
I'm honestly tempted to just give up on Lost....
What's your theory?0 -
Evening all!
Having dropped a couple of hints on a couple of threads as to how I would make soup with any leftover gammon, I got no response (Boo!) so decided to do it myself:
1. Chop up one onion and fry in a little oil until see-through (There is a term for this when talking onions, can't remember what it is!)
2. Add a pint of water into which you have dissolved two veggie stock cubes
3. Simmer this mixture away and in the meantime chop up one carrot and one (decent-sized) tattie into wee pieces
4. Add this to the simmering goodness. Stir.
5. Add handfuls of leftover gammon, finely chopped
6. Add [strike]the leftover peas from the freezer[/strike] carefully measured quantities of peas
7. Simmer until it looks done
8. Worry about consistency of said soup. Solve the issue by blending it to within an inch of its life
9. Taste. *phew* It's goodDish up into plastic tubs for lunches and freezer fun
10. Feel very smug for doing this at 9pm on a Monday and for cleaning the kitchen afterwards
The End0 -
Well... it doesn't cover everything but I reckon that Evil Beach Guy (black shirt) and Jacob the good (“What lies in the shadow of the statue?” “He who will save us all”) are on the beach at the time the Black Rock arrived at the island. I reckon Richard Alpert was on that boat, thats the time that he arrived. Evil Beach Guy wants to kill Jacob but can’t.
For some reason, Jacob ends up imprisoning EBG in the cabin, probably to stop him doing any mischief. The ash around the cabin is to keep him IN, and later on the gap in the ash is what allowed him to get out. When Ben takes Locke to the cabin the first time, Ben is pretending – but the person who asks Locke to “help me,” is actually EBG and NOT Jacob.
I also think that EBG can manifest himself as the smoke monster and as other people (Christian Shepherd, Alex, and eventually Locke). Reasons for thinking this: The smoke monster has bigged Locke up constantly making him feel special in the hope that he will get to the stage that he will kill himself in the name of the island. He isn’t really special, the poor guy has been led on all along. Also, the manifestation of Alex told Ben to do whatever Locke said – and Locke had to tell Ben to kill Jacob (because Locke can’t, because he’s really EBG who isn’t allowed!)
I also reckon that Rose and Bernard were living in the same cabin in the 70's with Vincent, which explains the painting of the labrador, and then either they die just of old age or from the bomb. I think they might well be the skeletons they found in the cave in season 1 aswell.
Can you tell I've been thinking about it too much hehe.
Oh btw the ham sounds nice as does the soup! (and well done for cleaning up!) How much coke did you use just one of the individual sized bottles?
xx

Ham-wise, yup, just one of the small bottles of coke. Apparently it's good with cherry coke too...
Your thinking on Lost is plausible, but it's all getting so silly now. It was silly before, but it seemed as though the writers had more of an idea about what they were doing. Now I'm not so sure...0 -
Well considering the writers originally said that anything that happened in the show could happen in real life, it is incredibly silly - problem is I can't possibly give up on it now because I'd just be wondering how the hell it all ends! And plus theres gotta be another scene of sawyer shirtless in there somewhere...
Cool might have to try the ham at some point soon
