I think I have included everything. I am happy to see that for the first time in ages I feel like I'm in control of money. I am still overspending on silly things like coffees and lunch at work, but at least three out of five days I'm bringing in my flasks and making my own lunch. It never feels like I have over £400 spare at the end of the month, but my PADs have been over £300 most months, so I guess I really do!

All comments on my new SOA are welcome!

*edit* According to the snowball thingie, I could be debt-free by June next year if I pay every spare penny to debts. I don't think this will happen but it gives me hope that I will be debt-free by 30!

hello, haven't said much for a few days but glad you've got an appt to day to get your toothache put right. we'll all be thinking of you this afternoon xx

SOA looks pretty good. the only thing i think looks a bit dear is your phone/telly/broadband package - but i might be wrong as you probably have a super duper service compared to us. and hey - you've got to live a little, right? you've made huuuuuge inroads with your debt & money management this year and as always, i'm chuffed for you!

builders very busy here again today. our garage (mustn't call it that now!) is actually a room. with walls! and a ceiling! and very nearly a floor - that's what they are doing now. all very exciting. i have been busy withdrawing cashmoney from the hsbc account to pay the plumber, electrician etc - so a withdrawal from the cashpoint then lots of "i need this one small onion and 50 quid cashback" in asda! :)

let us know how you fare later on xxx
Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

The internet package is ridiculous, but when I called to find out about reducing it I was told it would be more expensive to cut down the telly and phone. We are on some kind of customer retention deal which is why we have the 20MB broadband (And we run my PC, laptop and flatmate's PC on it, he and OH both play online games, so the connection is very useful) and all the other stuff. If I cancelled the phone, which I never use, and only had the TV and interpipes, it would cost £65 per month :rotfl:which is £10 more  We also have Setanta Sports included which OH watches for the Toon games, and if I reduced my telly package I would lose Sky and LivingTV. I watch lots of sh*te on the tv, so I would miss them :rotfl:

At least you are making use of your morning! And by this afternoon at least your tooth will be sorted- or on the way to being sorted! :D

I can't believe that your council tax pays your water too! I want to live in scotland and get my water paid, free eye tests, and by the sounds of it free NHS dental care! Humph!

We have to pay for NHS dental, but I pay £5 per month through work for dental insurance. Free eye tests are good though, and the cost of prescriptions just went down too :D

Water ain't free, but is included in the cost of council tax.

    Aaawww...thanks for all the support.

I got an X-ray taken and there was a black spot where a bit of my filling should have been. I now have a new filling with an antibiotic gel under it and it will be reviewed in two weeks. If I'm still in pain or it's not settled down I will need to get root canal  or my tooth out. As it's a tooth at the back of my mouth I might just go for the extraction if I have to make the choice, as I know many people who have had root canal. I called my boss with an update today and when I told her the choice I might have she told me just to get the tooth out :rotfl:

The dentist was really nice, and it could have been a lot worse. Only cost £10 as well, so yay for NHS!

I also cleared OHs loan today and finally registered him for online banking, so I will look after his accounts and maybe even squirrel some money away for him :D He is going to pay me an amount back each time he gets money in, and I may well create a spreadsheet. :T
