Hey Terri,
Initially Quidco was saying £25 for Sim-only which was fine, but when you searched Vodafone it showed as £90 if you specifically took the £15 per month deal which has 100 less minutes than the comparable one on their website. I hope this goes through!! I have the email with the confirmation and order number, so I will keep a hold of it just in case.
As far as Lost goes, get the DVDs and watch lots and lots of it, it's worth it!! If you lived up here I would lend you my box setsYou can pick them up quite cheaply now and if you go through Quidco....:rotfl:

Hiya!
Bloody hell FF thats a bit poo about the shower? Hopfully you will be able to get it done relatively cheaply. Fantastic news about the overdraft, guess it came at the right time just in case you need the cash.
Fagashlil, you HAVE to watch lost from the beginning! It's amazing and so addictive even though half the time it's impossible to know whats going on! :rotfl:
At the min we are about halfway through Season 5, season 6 will be the last one so you need to catch up soon so you can enjoy the finale with the rest of us losties! Agree with FF, the box sets are quite cheap on ebay now especially the earlier ones. Actually just thought I bet you can watch them online??? If you have a decent computer that might be a cheaper option!
xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
Evening all just popped on to say a quick hello.:hello:
Sorry to hear about the shower F_F do you know how much it will cost? We had to replace ours in Jan and cost us about £230  hopefully yours will be cheaper.
I went to see Watchmen on Friday and thought it was quite good but could have done with being a bit shorter towards the end. Although I heard they edited it down from 3 hours to just under 2.5 hours. Also it was slightly pornographic in places.
:T for getting the bonus, shame it will not go off your debt but hopefully if you shower is cheap you will have some left.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Hi F_F shame about the shower  I wanted to go see Watchmen today but OH didn't even though he likes all his comics/graphic novels and films by the same director
Hope you get the shower fixed soon, it's no fun washing your hair in the sink!
Our boiler broke last christmas (2007) and had no hot water for 4 weeks:eek: hopefuuly you'll be sorted quicker and cheaper then the £1600 it cost us to fix that badger.0 -
Hi All,
I have a fun night on the phone to the insurance folk ahead of me to try and figure out if they will pay anything towards the shower disaster. I think they should pay for sorting out the mess of the lady downstairs ceiling, but don't know yet. I want to get a builder/plumber I know to fix it - if I go through the insurance will I have to use someone they choose??
£5 deposit to ING came off my account today, so hoping that they will give me my free £20.
Nothing to report apart from that - off to wash my hair with a measuring jug now. Roll on tomorrow when the shower should be fixed

good luck with that F_F! The insurance may want you to use particular people, I think it depends on the company. We had to claim for some damage to a bedroom ceiling when our roof leaked but the people they used were great, and did a quick proffessional job so no complaints here! Good luck0

Heading out to my friend's house for a shower. Men with spanners cannot come to fix things until Wednesday and I already feel filthy beyond repair having had two flannel washes in two days.
Good news today - got my £2 hand lotion from the Telegraph offer. Bad news - organic is all well and good but it's smelly beyond all reasonable expectations. I might put it in the Christmas drawer...
Other good news - I signed up to Shipleys Bingo to get Quidco cash and forgot they were doing an offer for sign-up. Free £5 High Street voucher came through the post today, hurrah!
T'other halfs new sim card has been sent out, so he will be transferring his number shortly. Again, hurrah!
I have emergency holiday on Wednesday to oversee Men With Spanners, but they should only be here in the morning unless true disaster strikes. Free afternoon for me, hurrah!!!
