    Hi all!

I had no plans to do anything today, but here's what I managed to do today:

    • Made my PAD
    • Went to the supermarket first thing this morning to get some groceries and to pick up the free cookbook with the Independant - it's a really nice one too, off to the Christmas drawer it goes
    • Cleaned the kitchen
    • Hoovered
    • Tidied living room
    • Polished things
    • Haven't had the heating on so far today
    • Pork is currently roasting in the oven, and smells amazing. M&S pudding for tea as we ate so much chicken last night we didn't want to eat the cake :rotfl:
    • Redeemed iPoints for £10 Asda voucher
So all in all it's been a busy old day.

What have you been doing with your day?

    Morning all :D

Just a quick one from me before I go to [strike]hell[/strike] work.

The weekend was pretty good but ended with me crashing out last night before even saying goodnight to t'other half. I was sleepy after all that activity!

    Today my plans are:

    • Make PAD Done! Now over £80 in Overdraft Begone Account - only £129 to go!
    • Book eye test
    • Buy lunch at Boots with Advantage Points - forgot to buy ham yesterday for my sandwiches and no pasta sauce in the house either
    • Call and sort out all the direct debits that have gone t*ts up since I changed bank accounts
Only four more sleeps till Friday...

Just had a thought, where were you going to book your eye test. In the M&S magazine at the moment there is a voucher for a free sight test, and 20% off spex at D&A. But if you don't wanna get spex there you can take your prescription to where you were gonna get your spex having saved a few quids on the sight test.

(ps. I used to work for D&A and I know it really annoys 'em when you have a free test and take your prescription. *snigger*)

(pps. They were mean, they deserve it!):D

Darn, I knew that as well! I worked in edinburgh for a (very) short time once :D i was obviously distracted by the opportunity to annoy my former employers!

Good morning everyone...only three more sleeps till Friday :D

I have £33.07 coming from Quidco, which was going to go to the overdraft, but t'other half needed some money yesterday so I lent him £35. Ach well, easy come, easy go I suppose. With a bit of budgeting I'm hoping I will still be on track for paying off the overdraft this month. I only need another £114 now...

Not a lot else has been happening tbh. Work is crazu busy and as a result I am stressed and not sleeping too well - I woke up at 4am and have been up since quarter to six this morning. I went to bed after midnight too, so I feel like poop and still have a full day of work ahead of me. Bah.

I'm going to have to go to the supermarket after work too, there's no more point in putting it off any longer. At this point I feel that my Weekly Spend Challenge will go t*ts up, but we will see :D I won't feel too bad if I break the bank with groceries as this is budgeted for elsewhere.

Hope you all have a marvellous day.

    Xx
