The piccy was nothing very exciting ! ( i've now replaced it with a different one ) ....

It was a little animated piccy of a waving cow ....

If you go into www.photobucket.com , type in " waving cow " in the search box and you will see 8 of them that are still there ....... so i've no idea why it was removed .....
Very strange :rolleyes: ....

Hey ho!

Well another dull day for me - I am going to be sleeping all weekend I think!

I called up my mortgage insurance people, and they had received no information from A&L that I needed to move my Direct Debit, but A&L had cancelled the Direct Debit on my old account anyway :mad: So a double payment next month which is a pain in the bum, but can't be helped I suppose. It had better debit as if I miss two months they cancel my policy...

I have found a £20 per month sim only deal with Vodafone for t'other half which will give him a gazillion texts and 600 minutes. I will also get £120 cashback through Quidco I think the £15 per month might be better although the minutes allowance is smaller. We're going to look at it in the morning.

No other news to report really, it's 17 days until payday and possibly bonus day. Still no flipping announcement from the work about that. I still have £24 in my Going Out account, so taking t'other half to the pictures tomorrow. There is also still over £150 in my groceries account thanks to an effective freezer-stocking last month. I am aiming to have at least £80 left at the end of the month. Tomorrow I am going to batch-cook enough bolognaise to feed the 5000

Tired and crabby, so going to play some online games - hopefully the Quake servers aren't too full - and then go to bed. Night all!

Hey all,

So, we went to see Watchmen yesterday and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't without it's flaws (The girl who plays Silk Spectre II can't act her way out of a wet paper bag, despite her nice boobies) and it went on a bit towards the end, but it was a really good adaptation of a world-class graphic novel, so the geek in me is happy

The happy was soured though when we got home to find out that our shower has leaked into downstairs again, and that they called the flipping environmental health on us. We're not allowed to use the shower until the issue is fixed, which will be Tuesday. Chez Fresian is slightly stinky!

Although it now looks like I will get my bonus from work (Woo!) this will likely be used to fix the f*cking shower instead of paying more from the Barclaycard. Grrr...

In happier DFW news, I have just got t'other half a £15 per month sim-only deal with Vodafone, which will net me £90 cashback through Quidco if it tracks ok....money I will use to take us out for the night when it arrives and the rest to the Dreaded Debts.

No other news really so I'm off for a wash in the sink. Boo. My hair really is too long to wash with a jug

Sorry to hear that you are having a very sh*te weekend .... well you know what i mean ....

Beng a " quidco " girl as well , ive just noticed that vodafone have changed their terms on their " sim only " deal ..... so if i was you i would make a note of the time and date etc that you " ordered " the deal ...... As the sim only has reduced to either £15 or £25 .... sorry i can't remember which ! ....

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh i forgot to mention that i finally watched " an episode of lost " on telly the other night ( for the 1st time ! :rolleyes: ..... and only because you keep going on about it ! ) ..... i can't remember what night it was , but it finished at 1.30 am ...... Blo*dy hell , it was really good ! ..... I only caught the end of it , but " some bloke " was trying to get to a plane by 9pm ? ! ...... So Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease don't tell me that this was the last one ? ..... Oh hell , I'm trying to save money ..... but i'm going to have to get all the dvds that are out , so i can see what i've missed ! ....

Anyway please don't feel too " down " because of your shower ..... at least you have paid off your overdraft ....
