Evening all!
I was very good tonight - only one alcoholic drink! I was at the bar, ready to order my diet coke, then saw the Corona in the chilled cabinet calling to me. I had one Corona - and it was £3.10  I went on the Diet Coke after that one. I felt a little twinge of DFW guilt when I paid for the beer
Total cost of my night out - £10.10and it was all budgeted for in my Entertainment account. I have transfered money over to my current account to pay for it, and I have put the change in my Sealed Pot from my purse.
Apart from that, a very dull day. I went to work, which was dull, and then out for dinner, which was ace. I had a really good time. We're planning to have a night out for one of us as she's turning 50 this year. We're going to go out in Edinburgh when she returns from her birthday holiday. Some folk in our group want to go somewhere expensive and "nice" - I'm picketing for Weatherspoons
Anyway, have a nice evening everyone.

Morning everyone, time for my usual epic morning post!!
Good things from this morning already:
- Online banking checked
- PAD made - I was only going to pay £1+ today, but I emailed my flatmate yesterday and told him off for not coming out with us last night and he had sent me £3 to buy myself a drink
Off to Barclaycard that goes!
- I got the skin through for my iPod, have applied it and it looks lovely
- My first payment has been transferred from Halifax to A&L, so the bank account switching process has begun :j
- I now have over £350 in my Overdraft Begone Account
:D:D
***OMG OMG OMG***
Just got a text from my mum and she has sent me £50 towards my Barclaycard. We had a big talk before Christmas (When I confessed some of my debts, not the loan though!) and she said that if I worked hard towards paying my debts off she would send me something to my debt each month, this is the first month. I had been doing really well and had forgotten all about it. Wheeeeee!!!!0 -
Aaaaaaaaah big  for lovely Mums!!! I bought my mum's old laptop off her recently, well it wasn't even that old, then she refused to take the money for it....so nice treat for us!
So your overpayments are looking good already! I haven't made any this month:mad: I had to cough up over £200 on their clubs (this'll mostly last til Easyer tho') and DD2's Nintendo DS snapped, so kind mother I am replaced it:o ... another £100 gone!! Argh, £300 I could have had. Oh well! And good old ex-h doesn't pay a penny....
Have a good day........!! I'm waiting for the small dfw thread to appear, I'm all ready nice and early;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

hurray for your mum! what a lovely surprise. and hooray for you - such resraint at the bar last night, i really am impressed. although i must admit it breaks my heart to pay 3 to 4 pounds for a glass of wine when out, knowing that a whole bottle costs that much if i stay in and drink it!
xx

Hello all!
Well I got my freepost envelope through today from Mazuma and t'other half is going to go to the Post Office tomorrow for me, so soon I will have £52 from them for selling my old phone :j I haven't decided how I am going to break down the money yet, but I'm thinking £32 to debts and £20 to t'other halfs birthday piggy bank. I am also still waiting for the cheque from musicmagpie, which will be another £8.95 to the Dreaded Debts.
I'm thinking about buying my lunch tomorrow instead of making it. Me and the girls at work always used to get lunch in the canteen together, but since I have been a DFW I have stopped going. One of the other girls is fine with this, and we normally take a wander to the shops (She buys, I look!) on a Friday, but the third member of the team seems to be a little put-out at this, and I think it would be nice if we could all go for lunch tomorrow. It would cost me about £3.50 and I would stay within my Weekly Spend budget. Anyone got any thoughts on what I could do? The DFW part of me is saying "Go to the canteen but bring your own food" but I want chips. What should I do?!
I had to buy emergency foundation from Ebay as mine ran out the other day and I can't get it in Boots anymore as it's been discontinued. I don't have the money to buy a couple of different ones to see if there is another brand that suits me!! So, No7 Radiant Glow from Ebay it isI hope it comes soon, the emergency one I'm wearing makes me spotty
Not a lot else to report really, might be going to the pictures tomorrow with t'other half, parents are down visiting on Saturday and his parents on Sunday. I am going to need a week off to recover :rotfl:
Bed for me soon, night all!
