Do it, just get chips. It could be like a weekly thing because although the debt free thing is important it does sometimes feel like you (not you personally, just generally) are being tight especially when others aren't really watching the pennies. Or you could take some sandwiches or something then go halves on a portion of chips maybe? At least you wouldn't be going over your weekly spend.

OMG how annoying is it when they discontinue things like that? I alway think why they would need to, especially with foundation, its not like there are that many shades compared to say lipstick, there must be lots of people buying each one.

More brilliantness on the moneymaking, well done!

    Hi fresian
I think that as you are still within your " weekly spend " budget then you should treat yourself to the chips ....

Let us know how good the chips are!!

It's a no brainer FF - eat chips!! You are doing so well at making money and saving money, you really deserve a treat. A bowl of chips won't send you spiralling into a sea of debt, just luscious chip heaven :D

    Have a fab day xxx

    Morning all!

I just nearly killed myself running to get dressed and legging it down the stairs so I wouldn't miss the binmen, and they were the binmen for the garden bins not the normal ones  I really need to start putting the bins out the night before...

So, my plans for today are:

    • Make my PAD - Done!
    • Have chips with the girls at lunchtime :D I have pasta I need to use up, so I will eat this for lunch and buy a little portion of chips too. And maybe some tea, really push the boat out :D
    • Figure out what colour of bin goes with what recycling - I just got new recycling boxes delivered, as mine were stolen for a bonfire (Little b*stards) and it's been ages since I recycled.
    • Tidy the house up as the parents visit tomorrow
No other news really, I have discovered the joys of video podcasts on my iPod - I got an Oprah Winfrey money sense one for nothing. A lot of it is for the American markets, but it was interesting to watch. I have more to watch for later today on the bus :D

Thank Crunchie it's Friday all, have a lovely day!

Morning, know it's too late to chuck my twopennth in but I would totally have gone for chips too! Hmmm, chips.

I've been living on cup-o-soups, tinned ravioli/beans on toast etc for luches and some times it just feels like 'I want a sandwich like a normal person!' so I splash out maybe once a week, as long as it is within my weekly budget!

Hmmm, now I'm thinking about chips.

I also have to clean the house today as I am having a party at my house for my grandma's 80th tomorrow!

    So I better get cracking...

    Enjoy your chips.

    Hmmm, chips. :D
  • hopefully as i type this your chip hour is approaching! enjoy them & pat yourself on the back for making it through another week! xx

Thanks for that!! Now I can recycle :D

And for all those who have posted dangerous messages of chip-encouragement, we went to BK in the end, and I got chips, and they were GOOD :D:D
