Mmmmmm......Sawyer with his shirt off.
*runs back to Lost*0 -
PS just noticed the £5 a day total in your sig, well done! All from your ebay/amazoning?
x
Some from Ebay/Amazon, some from overtime and some from vouchers from Ipoints, it all adds up.
I am really confused now with Lost :rotfl: Is Ben really evil? Who is out to kill Hurley? Why did Juliette let someone give Sawyer a shirt?!?!?!?0 -
There is a thread of sheer mentalism on the Grabbit board:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1438955
The gist of it is thus:- Nice person posts that Asda has two chicken breasts for £1 - woo!
- People get worthy about free-range chicken versus evil cheap chicken
- People realise that the chicken is actually not evil chicken, but Red Tractor with a picture of a happy farmer on the front, feel silly
- Then others start moaning at people for buying "more than their fair share" of chicken

I avoid the Grabbit board like its infested with a plague of locusts, I spend far too much when I visit there. 25 Avon items for £4 delivered over a year ago.... I still have 22 of them unopened in a cupboard... seemed like such a great idea at the time and then the DDs went off bubble bath and I can't really give the M-I-L a hamper full of childrens bath products although the thought had crosse my mind.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Morning all!
I'm still transferring my CDs on to the PC to put in my new iPod!
I thought I had quite a bit of music, but I haven't even filled up 10gb of storage! I'm just going to have to find more music...
Hehehe.
I think I'm going to have to be very careful with my money this month - I have done something odd with my maths, and only have £95 of my surplus sitting in the bank at the moment. Hmmmm.....
Part of this is because I accidentally sent £50 somewhere and I don't know if it will come back (I know! What a muppet...) but I'm not too sure where the rest has gone...I "borrowed" £45 from my surplus until my Moneyback payment hits my account, so that will account for some of it, I just don't know. Grrr.....
I've been lazy in the last couple of weeks and have lost the focus I think - not on clearing my debts but on working to make more money. I need to list more things on Ebay, more books on Amazon and take all the things I can't sell to charity shops. I have one book to post today for Amazon, so I will send t'other half to go and do that. I will also return the dress I bought before Christmas, which should get me a little cash too.
Have a lovely day everyone!
*edited to add* I have taken £330 today from my new interest-free overdraft with A&L and paid it to my Halifax overdraft. As I'm still in the middle of switching bank accounts, I'm too scared to pay off the whole thing in case DDs are taken from the new account, but I'm on my way to moving this overdraft onto interest-free. Woo!

According to musicmagpie one of my orders is now completed, so I should have a cheque of £10.77 on its way to me sometime soon. Woo!0

OMG?? People buying too much chicken are to blame for the collapse of the banks... OK THEN :rotfl:bless some people.
"Why did Juliette let someone give Sawyer a shirt?!?!?!?"
I know... you are stuck on some weird-!!! island where you never know what time zone you are in from one minute to the next and you take away the one bit of something that will cheer you all up?It is yet again raising more questions - I love it though! Even if Penny's squashed face annoys me. I have about a million theories as to whats happening - usually I get annoyed about adverts in tv programmes but you need them in Lost to figure out whats just happened!
Sounding very organised with the overdraft - I'm sure you will figure out the other money soon, maybe you miscaluclated somewhere along the line?

Evening all
My cheque from musicmagpie arrived today :jso that's £10.77 for a PAD this week sometime - I will have to pop over to the bank in a lunchtime sometime this week. I am slightly more on top of things with the banking, but will generally be quite careful for the next little while, just in case. I don't want to run out of money before payday - I am hoping not to get in that situation again now that I have had my LBM!
Quite a dull day today with not a lot of DFW action - t'other half posted one of my Amazon parcels though, so that will be another £3 towards the dreaded debt. I keep telling myself not to be disheartened and that every little helps!! I really need to sit down and put more things on Amazon soon just to try and clear the clutter if nothing else!
I'm going to have a nice DFW tea of macaroni and cheese (which I'm not amazing at making, but it should be quite tasty!) and I will hopefully have enough leftover for tomorrow's lunch as well. I am also going to sit down and add up my PADs, as I haven't been using my nice DFW notebook recently.
If I can make the laptop internet cable thing stretch to the living room (I broke my dongle - keep it clean!) then I will also list some Amazon bits and pieces!
Right, dinner for me. Will undoubtedly be back on later!
