Morning all!
Just withdrew £16.53 from my Paypal account, which brings the total I am waiting for from Ebay to £63.41. I am still waiting for payment from 5 people, totalling £18ish and have around £10 in Ebay fees to come off my account as well.
All the money I have made will go into my PAD account to replace some of what I have spent on festival/gig tickets, and keep my instant access account looking as healthy as possible.
Really tired this morning, but caffeinating myself to the point of full consciousness
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

Hope you had nice time away
I'm avoiding the bookcase. All the [strike]sh*te[/strike] quality merchandise for the car boot is in front of it, so there is no room at the moment. Cometh next weekend, cometh a plan to build the bloody thing :rotfl:

Great time, although tiring - good luck with the boot sale - I think that is what I need to do - we're about to sort the garage this weekend, not looking forward to that I can tell you...:p
Wish I was closer, I love flatpack (made a tall desk, bookcase and bedside cabinets last week and three small units for myself yesterday) and I would have popped round for you - when you've done it tho, you'll be very chuffed and at least will have somewhere to put [STRIKE]more sh*te[/STRIKE] stuff :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Hi all,
I have had an email from an Ebay person claiming that the mug I sent her was broken when it arrived. How should I deal with this? If it's broken I would be happy to refund the amount paid, minus postage, but how do I prove it? Should I ask for a picture? I had wrapped it in big bubble wrap, put bubble wrap inside the mug then put in a jiffy bag.
I have seen so many reports of Ebay fraud on here that I'm paranoid!
Advice would be ace.

ASK FOR PHOTO
it sounds like you packaged it well and it is not unreasonable

Exactly!!
How does anything get broken if you smother it in bubblewrap?!!
:rolleyes:0 -
I'd ask for photo too.
I think that in future, I'd avoid using EBAY for breakables. Too risky.
Ps - I still have not used my slow cooker yet, which is quite frankly rude as I have wanted one for ages and now I have one, I don't know what to do with it.** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

I think you're in a lose-lose situation here. If you don't refund her then you'll likely get left bad feedback. If you do refund her, then it's loads of hassle.
Also if it wasn't broken and she's trying it on, then it would (or will) be easy enough for her to break it herself anyway.Start Date: 27/11/2010

Ah but she won't have a perfect mug AND refund if she has to break it!! She'll have no mug hahaha so that would serve her right:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Yeh, meant more if she'd changed her mind about the purchase, a 'broken in transit' mug would give her chance to get her money back and try swindle FF whereas if she said "I've changed my mug" she'd be the one getting the short sharp shrift.Start Date: 27/11/2010
