She has said thanks for the nice email (As I apologised for Royal Mail error) and offered to go halves with me, which is awesome! I'm going to refund her the full cost minus postage and take it as a lesson not to sell smashable things. Sodding Royal Mail *mutters*0

I sold two camera lenses on eBay earlier in the year and was having nightmares over the posting of them - one of the buyers took ages to leave feedback too so that made it worse. Having said that, I always ask buyers to message me on receipt so that I know that the item has arrived OK "and once I know it's got to you OK I will of course leave your feedback" - nice little incentive there! Oh - thinking about it the camera I sold should have been even worse, but actually wasn't as it was packaged in its original box etc...and SO much brown paper!!!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Morning all!
Couple of quick updates from me:
Ebay
All apart from one item is paid for, just waiting on proof of damage from this other buyer before refunding. Mr Fresian is being Postman Pat again today for me, bless him.
Other DFW Gubbins
Music Magpie cheques to the value of £14.05 are going into my account today. More PAD for me!
The carboot has been put off as my friend with the car (and therefore the boot) has been given the keys to her new flat early and is going to move her stuff in next weekend. We won't be able to do this until July now. This probably means that I will be spending a lot of this weekend clearing out clutter and looking at what else I can Ebay.
Money
A week until payday  and I have:
£24 in my purse
£8 in my PAD account
£16.53 in my "spends" account
£17.94 in my groceries account
This should be more than enough for me, but I'm panicking that I will run out of money now :rotfl:

F_F - ah man, I missed the doughnuts. Though from looking at me, you sure as hell would think I live in a doughnut factory (and its not cos I have Jam round my mouth!), we are talking the reappearance of some extra padding I thought I had shifted!! LOL. Oh well, more of me to cuddle.
You are so organised cash wise. I am still really bad and need to get my head around my pennies and get a spreadsheet or something going. As I have no idea how short of dosh I am going to be at the end of this month. Will add that to me to do list, for tomorrow. Have plenty to be getting on with for today, thanks very much!

hey fresian and fellow fresian-thread-readers! i am delaying doing my banking so thought i would catch up on the last few days of posts...
glad the ebay worked out well overall, shame about the mug but at least your customer was a nice one. building work rumbles on here, so close to the end but still dragging on. getting thoroughly fed up with it all now, to be honest (ungrateful i know, but just want to get back to "normal").
hope everyone is enjoying a lovely day today, we are full of sunshine in the northwest today. xxMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

Another EBay question!
What's an eCheque? Why would it take until the 25th to clear??
I take it I shouldn't post anything until I get confirmation it's cleared...?
