I too work for the bank that was in the news yesterday. I changed roles last summer and if I hadn't I would now be out of a job.
I still think there will be more reshuffling and my job may still go at sometime in the not too distance future.
If there are any donuts left, hoy one over here, I could do with a sugar fix!:p
XSSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -
i have no paid job at the moment (by choice - stay at home mum
) but i *do* loooooooove doughnuts - and i worry generally about the state of jobs etc for everyone, and specifically about DH's job with a large computer type company.
so i'd like to serve up yet another jammy doughnut (i don't "get" cricket at all, being a foreigner, but i do like me a bit o' wimbledon...). i'm thinking happy job thoughts for all of you seeking one, and for all of you who have one to keep it xxxMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

*throws doughnut with enthusiasm, if not much accuracy, in the direction of Xspender*
Also, have a *hug* for also working for The-Bank-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named at the moment. Humbug to scary times.0 -

How can you count it as a sport when you get to break for tea and wear a jumper all day?
*hides from the English cricket fans*
***Disclaimer*** As a Scottish person, I'm used to most of our sportspeople being awful, but I cannot see the sense in cricket. The matches go on for daaaaaays!0 -
I don't get why people will pay money to get into a cricket match, then sit there all day reading a newspaper? Thats what the highlights are on the telly for! Must be the german side of me coming out there as the english side of me certainly doesn't enjoy it!
xThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -

I don't work for the bank that shall not be named, but some of my friends in my work are fighting for their jobs, so all is not good, I got out the department in time, but feel bad for everyone else who loses out!

Aargh, Mr Fresian was using bittorrent last night and my interpipes are now really slow. This is despite stopping the download and restarting the PC. *sob*
In happier news, Ebay sales sitting at £19.48 with nine ending tonight. All but one of these have watchers (One has 15 watchers!!)
I'll be logging on as soon as I get home from work to see if I have made my fortune :rotfl:
