I know its really early but I just felt I had to get on here and let everyone know how I got on with my first weigh in. I'm doing it myself as the pharamacy is too far away and I'm going to weigh every Monday morning before breakfast. Anyhoo after one week on Celebrity Slim I have lost... drum roll please.... 8.4lbs!!! :j
I am so pleased! I have never lost that amount on any other diet I've tried (and believe me I've tried most that are out there). I know I've got a maaahooosive amount to lose and things will quieten down after the initial weight loss but I'm so pleased to see that CS does produce results.

Thanks to all of you who have posted on here as I would never have tried it without seeing all of your comments. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :T

  • That's great news on your weight loss St0lli!
I still find it surprising when I step on the scales and they are still going down! This diet does work, and it's not just water/muscle loss either. My body fat scales say I have lost 25lbs and over 23lbs of that is fat so I know what's going is all bad stuff! I too have never stuck at a diet this long either, usually only stick for a week or so then get bored. I never even got down to this weight when I was torturing myself at the gym 3x a week.

Teenie, I buy my CS supplies 2-4 weeks at a time, so I am not having the same flavour for a week, I think I might go mad with that! Also the chemist is quite far away and a pain to get to. Oh yes, and make sure you get the Rowlands reward card thingy stamped. You get 1 stamp for every £5 you spend. Collect 12 stamps and get £5 off - not much, but it helps!

    It's only a game

It's a Rowlands pharmacy that I go to and they never told me about a reward card  I'm definitely going to ask about it next time and I may even be cheeky and take my past receipts to see if they can apply the rewards to those. Doesn't harm to ask I suppose ;)

Well done on your 25lbs loss MrsB! I was a bit concerned when I first read posts on this thread as there are lots of people who have posted just once or twice and then disappeared so that made me a little worried about how hard it was but I was encouraged by the posts from you, Teenie D, F1ona, and Trudij (to name just a few).

As I said I've got a very long way to go and I know that I will have a massive blip when I go on holiday in December as I'm going on a cruise and the food on there is absolutely fabulous. There is no way I'm going along with my sachets so as long as I psych myself up for the set back I think I'll be ok (it;s very difficult to type with my fingers crossed! lol)

Hi guys, I've just ordered my supply of Celebrity Slim online so will be starting on Monday (if it arrives... bloody royal mail LOL). Really excited about it and hope to have a bit less jiggle for Christmas.
I put on loads of weight when I was pregnant with my daughter and she's 10 months now so I don't have the 'I've just had a baby!' excuse anymore :( I need to lose about 30lbs but realistically would like to lose half of that by Christmas so about a stone.

    Xxx
  • Hey Blah 11, im looking to lose about the same as you..28lb ideally. I started CS today, (have been on it before for about 2weeks before i got ill..long story) but am back on it as of now and was off to a good start today.

Well done on all your success stories everyone x

St0lli well done that if brilliant :T I bet you got a real buzz when you seen the scales, I know I do and the best thing is it keeps working, every week you will see those scales move down (as long as you stick to it LOL!!).

Welcome blah11 and flower27 its great to see more people joining it keeps the encouragement up!

Mrs B I was only offered the reward card last week when I went to get my supplies (that was my 3rd visit) so I was pretty peeved off, especially when they had none left:mad: the lady took my name though and said I will get it back the next time I go in.

I have been pretty bad the last few days for not drinking enough water the thing is at work I can get through 2 ltrs no bother its just at home I find it difficult now. I find the easiest thing for me is to use a 1 litre sports water bottle and once its finished fill it again I always find these bottles easier to drink from. I just hope this will have not affected my weight loss this week......roll on Wednesday!

That's exactly what I do... I find it the easiest way of keeping track of what I've been drinking.

I start a new job on Wednesday so hopefully they won't wonder who the freak is who has joined them when I get my soup out at lunchtime and keep gluging on water throughout the day :D

  • I drink my water in pint glasses - 4 and I'm done, lol each to their own :D.
If anyone is really struggling with getting water down them, especially as it's getting colder, I've found Sainsbury's Basics apple and blackcurrant diluting juice has only a trace of carbs in a 100ml glass, and their sugar free Lime cordial is about the same (don't have bottles here to check). All Sainsbury's own label sugar free squashes have no aspartame, they are only sweetened with sucralose (Splenda), and as you're "allowed" splenda in tea and coffee this should be fine with the mods on the CS site:p .
I find a nice hot mug of blackcurrant is so warming (and filling too) on a cold and drizzly day like today, I don't drink tea or coffee so miss out on a hot drink sometimes. Well that's my sales pitch for today guys:D. Better get my arris in gear. Roll on a much slimmer us at Christmas!

Hi first78 Ihave checked to see if I can answer your question but so far can't find anything that says. You would be better to either go to or phone your nearest Rowlands pharmacy they will able to tell you.

Well weigh day for me and I honestly cannot believe it.............I have lost 6Ibs this week!! I was hoping to lose the 1Ib I put on last week but this is brilliant (even if I do say so myself lol) the funny thing is I don't feel like I have lost that much.

This diet REALLY does work guys so if you are new to it and struggling just keep at it, it will be worth it. I have never lost weight like this on a diet before. xx
