Well Done Jayne, I really was bad yesterday - had a shake in the morning, and then ate everything in sight for the rest of the day. Back to it today so hopefully not too much damage done!0

Hi everyone
I am new to this forum but have been on CS for 2 weeks now and lost 7 pounds. Some days I find easier than others but with my wedding not far away I am determined to lose a bit more weight!!
I was just wondering if anyone else had found that their weight loss stopped around 'that time of the month'?
Thanks0 -
I have decided I am going to do slimming world extra easy with my mum for now, I'm going away in a few weeks and need to lose some more weight and ever since I went to the isle of wight I haven't been able to get back into CS properly, But when I get back which I think is around the 20/21st september I am going back on CS.
I'm really hoping to get to my goal weight by november/december this year0 -
Hi guys,
I'm new to this thread and have been reading it with some interest recently. I'm not long back from a trip to America where I ate my weight in oreos and have about a stone to lose. Would this plan be suitable for me? I don't want to overdo it but I've not been feeling great about myself lately. I'm 5"11 and don't know if a couple of sachets and snacks will be enough to sustain me! Any advice would be very much welcome! xx0 -
Hi Goldilockz, I just started the CS diet this morning, and I too was worried about the "filling" nature of the shakes and thought I might be really hungry all the time. Ok so it's early days yet lol, but when I started to drink my first shake it seemed thin and watery, not thick like say a Mcdonalds shake and I really thought I might be in trouble!
I sipped it over a period of about 10 mins and found that I was feeling very full and left about 50 ml in the bottom of the cup. 20 mins or so later I finished it as the bloated feeling left me (and I was scared not eating the lot would make me starving later). It's been 2 hours and while I've had a pint of weak squash since then I don't feel hungry at all. I'm not really sure when I will feel like a mid-morning snack.
That's my experience, but if you are still unsure there are tips on the official website to help and they also do a men's pack which I think they suggest to larger women too if they have lots of weight to lose. The ingredients are the same, just the portions are 10% bigger.
It's good to see that others are succeeding on this plan and I hope I will too!

It's only a game

hi everyone:j
heatherchook its good news if your weight loss stops during the TOTM as u can gain up to 7lbs in water so the same is better than a gain ,youll more than likely find that you have a bigger weightloss the week after when your body gets back to normal.
Hi goldilockz it took me a week or so to get used to the Cs plan ,during that week i had a little more than the allowable sized snacks, not much but enough to stop me feeling really hungry ,like i would have my almonds for my last snack around 7pm but then get really nibbly when OH was munching on cheese on toast so id then have an apple. As long as its healthy ,fits the plan and your only having a little extra then its not so bad.It does work so its worth doing.
anyhoos peace time is up.Good luck heatherchook, goldilockz and MrsBartolozzi. All I can do is be me, whoever that is

Hi Appletart and Mrs Bartolozzi and thanks so much for your lovely replies. I really do want to do the plan but, like Appletart, feel that it'll take me a few days to get used to it and worry that I'll give up before I've even begun. I only have a stone to lose and would love to do that in 8 weeks (that'll be the next time I see my boyfriend and I know it's vain but I'd like to be feeling slim and sexy by then!) How are you getting on now Mrs B? I tried the plan a couple of weeks ago but didn't get past day 2 as I woke up with a very strange headache that put me in a sour mood. I'm planning to start again on Monday next week as that's my day off work and if I have that nasty headache again, I think I'll be able to deal with it knowing I can lye in bed watching DVDs all day! It would be great to see how you guys are getting on with the plan and perhaps we can become 'buddies'. How long are you planning to stay on the plan for?
Thanks again,
Goldi xxx0
