    Aw Star I hope you feel better soon, sounds like you just need to snuggle yourself in bed and concentrate on getting better rather than CS, you'll prob find you've lost weight as you haven't been eating a great deal!

    Well i know I was going to stick to the prog religiously this week but I just couldn't face having my lunchtime shake, I really just wasn't hungry and I didn't fancy it! so I missed it and just had my afternoon snack...I've spoken to the mods on CS about this before and they'ev basically said I have to force myself to have it because the programme is ment to be 6 small meals a day but I honestly don't feel right doing that, I mean if I'm not hungry...I'm just not hungry!!!

    Wotcha think ladies is it really going to make that much of a difference if I don't have a lunchtime shale but don't subsititue it for anything else??

  • mmm they do say every 3 hours have something, keeps the metabolism burning, maybe you could try something diffrent for breakfast see if that works? i know thats what ive done bar last week with being ill, i have an atkins cereal bar in the morning (cs bars are too filling,) then i have a small piece of fruit mid morning then a soup, then half a cs bar then salad or chicken and veg!,

    I've not been about for ages but I kept going with CS since April and lost 33lbs - that's two dress sizes but recently got sidetracked by a new job. It's so much harder in this new place - although it has a onsite gym there's also a canteen and menus for the restaurant posted all over the building including the lifts! I'm also struggling to make up the soup as I have to take in a flask of boiling water that's only hot when I open it. Everything is vending machine or cafe so not kettles. Really difficult.

    This is the first day I've stuck to it for about a week and feeling very guilty as a result. Probably had more fail days in the last three weeks than good days.

    I'm getting on the scales to assess the damage tomorrow morning...
    Dieting for IVF, proud of my curves but not the wobbly bits!

    33lbs is really good, well done.
    I still wasn't feeling well today, so am gonna start from scratch tomorrow, I'm just really hoping I haven't put any weight on as I haven't been eating properly and when I have it realy hasn't been healthy all I have been able to face is weetabix and pasta an stuff like that (a bit weird I know) I'm feeling a lot better at the moment so hoping I will feel good in the morning too
  • Hi everyone, how are you all doing? Hope you feel better soon star, is especially hard when you are poorly. Curvy girl, well done. 2 and a half stone is fab. Hope you work things out with your new job. I have now lost 22 pounds since starting cs three weeks ago. Got weighed today but not sure if I lost or not as the scales kept on giving different weights in the chemist. Was amazed last week when I apparenly lost 15 Pounds in a week. Not sure if this is correct or if the scales were wrong last week but this is more or less the same as my home scales so think it must be right. Anyway, hope everyone is doing good , Ladybug1112

    ladybug that is astonishing! 22lb in 3 weeks is an amazing loss!! How much do you want to lose??

    I woke up this morning and feel really really bloated and my stomach has gone from looking flatter than it has been in a long time to looking like I'm pregnant!!! (I'm not btw) I'm not quiet sure whats going on but I bloody hope it goes down very soon!

    Thats brill Star that your feeling slightly better and you have a target to start afresh today.

    ok, started from scratch today
    weight 11st 5lbs (but I did weigh after breakfast)
    Breakfast choc orange shake (really weird, but I have another 13 left so will have to make myself like them)
    snack 30grams cheese
    Lunch strawberry shake
    snack apple

    so far so good, plus I have already had 1.5 litres of water and am about to start a 750ml bottle so the water is going ok, even though I still don't particularly like it.

    Ladybug that is really amazing I wish I could do that well, I'm going to spain in the beginning of september and really want to look good.
  • Hi, thanks star and Katiecub. The bloating thing is really weird isn't it? I did that yesterday. Think most women say they feel bloated throughout the month. Am sure you will be less bloated tommorow.Try to remember how well you have done and not how bloated you look. Will be you that notices it more than anyone else. Everone else prob thinks you look great. I noticed yesterday that I had had a couple of bottles of fizzy drinks and wondered if that made me bloated. Well done Star, sounds like you've had a good day. Cant wait to try the choc orange. I want to loose about 5 stone. Am sure you will look great when you go away. Sept is a while yet. Anyway ladies, time to go to sleep. Happy thursday and hope everyone has a good day.x.
  • Hi everyone. I'm Jayne and on day 4 of CS.

    This is my third time starting it - 1st time did 3 days then my mum became very ill so focus was on her but sadly she didn't make it, food became a comfort and then tried again but didn't even manage 2 days as it was too soon for me. Now I am ready and determined and so focused.

    I started it Monday and weight then was 15st 6lbs. I'd love to get down to something between 10st and 11st and get back into my wardrobe full of clothes that I can't even look at :confused:.

    I've got a stepper machine, an exercise bike and a Vibrating Plate machine so my 'home gym' is in place and I plan on building up my daily usage of all three to help with the loss and tone up.

    Anyway, back soon.
