Thank you so much for that, I will stick at it. Didn't realise about the little things you mentioned like the jelly etc so will get some in. I really really want to do this-I need to do it for my health.

I'm glad there is someone else on this site that can help me along (cos its my favourite :D). Feel better now was feeling a bit panicky about it but roll on day 2 x

  • hi mrs b and teenie,im still doing the mainetence phase ,im sticking to it the majority of the time but have treated myself once or twice a week, wether its night out for cocktails with the girls, cheese on toast for supper or a chocolate bar.I started cs about 5 months ago and have lost just under 3 stone most of it was in the first 8 weeks of cs.Im planning on going back fully on cs next week for a while after i get my period week out of the way.Its been great to lose so much weight, the compliments really help spur me on,no longer does my wee girl tell me that she loves my big fat cuddles but says instead that she likes my new wee bum !!(not all that wee i must say!!).

hope u go for it teenie its well worth the effort in the first week and after that it gets so much easier.good luck every one.

  • Hi everyone, this is for Teenie -
I was having a think about the things I used to help me stick to my diet and remembered I quite like the Atkins bars and you can have them on this diet, just not every day. Tesco sell the Day Break bars - I really like the choc chip ones mmm, and I've only seen the other types at Boots - there's a mars bar type one and a snickers type one. They are not cheap but are useful to keep in your bag as a snack, or if you NEED a choc fix lol (I have half a big bar or one smaller one as a snack). Here's the boots.com page to let you have a look, but I just get mine in my local shop.

Thank you so much, I was in boots today and noticed them but wasn't sure if I would be allowed them.

Feeling a lot better today, had a vanilla shake this morning and really enjoyed it but had it about an hour earlier than I did yesterday (yesterday I waited until I went to work before i had it thinking it would keep me fuller for the rest of the day but was maybe too hungry by then?)

Walked up town this morning 45 mins and I was puffed but really enjoyed it. I have not long had a chicken and veg stir fry and will have a shake or soup tonight (I have just started a kick boxing/aerobics class and it is on tonight and I never feel like eating much after.)

Going to go to the shop soon and stock up on fruit, jellies and will check for the atkins bars.

    Thank you so much xxx

  • morning everyone,
just thought id pop in to tell you that i just had a choc caramel bar from the new Cs range and its lovely, very sweet and gooey ,ideal for me as im on TOTM and get terrible sweet cravings. They would be perfect halved as a snack too and there not dense at all like the other CS bars.

Atkins bars are fine to eat,i liked choc chip too but have to say the clear winner for me is the cappaccino nut..yumm :D.

  • hi all. i've just started CS and just had my first shake chocolate. Wasnt that bad. i've got the starter pack and brought 4 of the bars chocolate fudge to help me along. Im 11 stone but want to loose some and maybe get to 10 stone. Thing im trying to shift the most is my tummy which just wont go. understand if i'd had kids but i haven't lol.

    Good luck all
  • Hi all, I've been blogging on the official uk CS site but I can't seem to find the best discussion that the majority of peeps blog on so decided to post on here!
I'm on day 4 of CS and although i'm feeling hungry often (constantly thinking about food!!) i'm being a good girl and sticking with it... only one mishap and that was trying to shake my chicken soup in my shaker which exploded all over my kitchen ha ha!!!
I've not bought any of the bars as yet and i'm finding that I'm managing on 1 shake in the morning, a snack at lunchtime and a balanced meal in the evening. I generally don't need many calories to put weight on so I'm just wary that if I follow the recommended guidelines I'll put weight on rather than loose it.

Anyhow all will be revealed on weigh in on Monday to see if this is working - I'm soo pleased I've had no chocolate or bread/potato's this week athough the Go Ahead berry bake's in my cupboard keep winking at me!!!

Anyhow nice reading all the blogs on here.. good luck everyone

    Hi everyone :hello:

    Welcome Gill!

Well its day 4 for me and things are definately better. Getting on really well and enjoying the shakes much better. Had a caramel one this morning yummy and a choc mint one at lunch, but wasn't as keen on that.
I am managing to stick to it and drinking 2 litres + every day, I do still feel a bit hungry at times but not as bad as day 1.

The only thing I have not given up yet is sugar in my tea (I know naughty naughty !)but I am cutting down to 2 cups a day with 1/2tsp of sugar, it's odd though as today I was drinking a cup and I found it a bit too sweet, for me even though the shakes are sweet .

I am going to order more soups too. I had the beef one yesterday and although it tasted a bit odd, it was kina comforting to -if that makes sense!

One problem is that I wasn't able to weigh myself on Tuesday as the scales in Boots were broken and my scales at home don't go up far enough (can't beleive I have just admitted that :embarasse:sad:) but will use the WII scales right after I have posted this to give me a rough idea (I have a fair idea anyway but at least that way I am keeping some sort of track even if it not accurate.)

Thank you for your support and encouring me to keep at it, this is going to be a long process but will be worth it in the end.

Good luck everyone else and will post soon to let you know how things are going.

  • Hi lilvixen, good luck with Cs its very easy and the results are fab.It made a huge difference to my tum as i was bloated with bread, pasta ect so stearing clear of those helped immensly.Im almost down 3stone since starting Cs and was still losing at a decent rate while on the mainetence plan.Im starting back fully on cs on monday to help get down to my ideal weight in time for christmas.

    good luck everyone
