    I've been Money Tipped!
Well I've been doing it properly for about a week and half now and I had a sneaky weigh today and I've lost about a kilo this week alone:D - So far so good - having real trouble with water intake though as it's so gacky!! College has stopped getting the flavoured water as well:(

I got some of the caramel snack bars and I only have one if I'm at work in the first break and then a soup for lunch - Much easier and cheaper than having to use the bistro at work. I've been mostly having salads or omelettes with salad as I'm just too knackered after work to cook separately for me and the kids - I do theirs first and then just pile a load of leaves and salady bits in a bowl and top it with tuna or cottage cheese, with some grapes or apple for dessert. When I get time I must get down to the fishmonger as we all like fish and the kids can have potatoes of some sort with theirs and I'll just have veggies or salad (again)

What about baked beans - are we allowed a small portion as they're quite lo-GI if we use the reduced sugar ones? I miss my baked beans - Kids don't-RAFLMAO!!!

Went to Yo Sushi on Sat and I had Miso soup, Teriyaki chicken and the other chicken on a stick thing and then(shock horror) had the vegetable tempura - didn't seem to affect me though- the batter is really thin and light. DS1 shocked me by having Octopus sashimi(bleurgh!)

Mum and Dad are coming this weekend which means a visit to the local curry house - so I guess just curry and veg? I might even have the Tandoori special - all meat and a bit of salad - give the Nan to my dad.

Still can't keep to just 3 coffees a day though - I'm fine at work as I just carry a bottle of water to class - it's when I get home and have to plan lessons without falling asleep- I can get through about 6 cups:eek:

Ah well -I'll have to see how it goes - I had 3 people ask me yesterday if I'd lost weight:D so it must be ok

It is the one that is endorsed by Biggest Loser, the TV show. I think they are good fore a quick start but you need to go onto a fitness and nutrition plan really.

    Hi everyone

I wasn't posting on here as I didn't think anyone else was, obviously missed the last couple!

I am still on CS and actually enjoying it, I lost another 2 Ibs this week which makes a total of 11ibs in 2 weeks-was a bit gutted at the 2Ibs after the huge weight (water lose the week before).

I am really enjoying it and am finding that I am definately getting fuller after drinking my shakes/soups and I am managing to cut down on my portion sizes when I have my meal at night. How is everyone else getting on?

Timtav maybe it is good just for a quick start but personally this is what I needed to give me the motivation to lose weight again. I intend doing this as long as possible-in fact my diet is healthier than ever as I eat more fruit than I did before and because you can't have carbs I am replacing them with veg! I know all you need to know about nutrition and what a healthy balanced diet is but for some people (especially me!) it's not as easy as eating healthy and exercising more (and yes I do exercise too-check out the Wii fit thread) its about retraining your brain to know when you are trully hungry and stopping when you are full.

Anyway good luck everyone else, let me know how your weight loss goes.

hi i started on cs yesterday and was really suprised how full it kept me feeling thought i would have been starving my 1st day !!! So hopefully it will get easier as it goes on when my stomach shrinks and is not looking for as much food. i feel quite motivated after reading all your success stories.

has anyone got tips on snacks ?

    Hi f10na

It does get easier as you go along, especially if you felt it kept you full on day1-I was so hungry but now it is no problem, i do still get peckish but I just drink more water.

To begin with I found the snacks a problem but now I have 1 or 2 pieces of fruit a day or 1 piece of fruit and a ww yogurt. This suits me just now so I will have to get my thinking cap on for snacks when/if I get bored of them.

Good luck, let us know how your first weigh in goes.

my favourite snack was a slice of ham wrapped up in a lettuce leaf - dont know why, but it felt like I was eating something really nice instead of just having something for the sake of it. love mini bayby bells too - so if I was really hungry, Id have one with an apple. :)

keep it up everyone - Im down to a large hillock of go lower now - so hopefully it wont be long till I can CS again !!!!

Go lower is a simialr kind of thing - you pay a ridiculous amount of money, and they send you granola, soups, and meals for the evening, plus snacks and treats (snacks are pork scratching type things, bags of seeds and musliea bars - the treats are choc covered brazils or choc covered raspberries) the idea being that they provide all your food for the whole time you are on the diet. Its ok food - but I lost the will to do it when I realised that the soups arent all that nice - and the granola isnt too great either. The only thing you have to buy is your dairy things, and the veg. Its low carb, and would work with CS I think, but at the cost it is, I just cant afford to not have it.

The evening meals are pretty good - only one that I really dont like is the vegetarian one, and the snacks are all good too - its just the thought of the 97th day of soup....

lol - Im just useless, and have no willpower - and I should have stuck with CS again - I lots quite a lot with it, loved it,felt great on it and am really cross with myself that I got sucked in to the go lower ( or go slower as its now known in our house!) diet. :(

You are doing well though - the first few days are the hardest, promise !!
