Angel Jenny I too feel excited about being on this diet and especially now I know it works. It is still early days but I'm not tiring of it. I also have loads more energy and I didn't suffer any side effects either so don't worry about doing something wrong. I'm in this for the long haul but I am willing to stick at it-this time next year I will be so much slimmer and I can't wait!

  • Hi everyone,
Sounds like your all doing really well! I done this diet a few months ago, lost 9lbs the first week then went on a girls holiday and put it all back on! Started it again yesterday, determined to stick to it a bit longer this time!

Hope to lose a couple of stone but will take one stone at a time! My only problem is wanting to get weighed every hour!

    Next weigh in - Saturday!

Ohhh I'm having a really hard day today-I just want to eat junk! I am so hungry-drank over a litre of water already and had my snacks and nothing is working. Its my first day of TOTM so I am hoping that that is the problem. I am determined not to give in though, was going to go for a walk but it is going to pour with rain any minute.

    Keep it up everyone else!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Changed weigh in day to Thursday as I don't start work until 2 so that gives me time to do measurements etc, instead of racing around trying to get kids sorted as well. Lost a total of 1.7 kilos so far so not too bad. Had sushi again - just chicken thiugs so should be alright this week.

Just finished a huge bowl of homemade pumpkin soup - I had to stick a potato in to thicken it but it was a huge panful so not too many carbs.

The Atkins snackbars have a lot less carbs that then the CS ones and are nicer -so I'm having those occasionally when I need a sweet fix that's not fruit. The little marmite cheese are great as well :D

An easy supper I like is a piece of fish - I had Nile Perch this week - in greaseproof with some julienne veg and butter, all wrapped up and popped in oven for about 20 mins - yumm!

  • Hi there everyone,
it's great to see that everyone's doing so well on the CSdiet. I'm still losing about 2lbs each week, so I'm happy.
Just a little comment to Elisebutt, hope you don't mind. Pumpkin is not allowed on the CS diet, so you might like to limit how much soup you eat- it's got lots of carbs which is a shame as it's squash/pumpkin season, and I'm missing it myself.
Can I ask you too, how do you make your sushi without rice? I still have some nori in the cupboard, and the rice too:rolleyes:, but wondered if there's a nice way to serve without the carbs bit?
I agree with you about the Atkins bars, they are really nice. I couldn't believe how carb-heavy the CS snackbars were, and they taste really artificial too IMO.

Well, good luck peeps, and happy weigh ins,

    MrsB.:D

I buy the Atkins morning bars in boxes of 5 in Tesco and Boots, some tescos also have a couple of the other bars too, but mostly Boots for the endulge bars.
I found that I was more hungry during TOTM rather than just craving chocolate as usual. I just sort of said to myself, I know why I am hungry, so I will let me have an extra options hot choc, or half an atkins bar or an extra piece of ham at snack time (there's no point feeling crampy and grumpy and hungry too). I also made sure I knew I would not be eating in the same way tomorrow and I hope this has helped me break a binging habit.
Aknowledging to myself why I was eating extra has helped, as I now am a lot less likely to snack because I "fancy" something - I need a good reason IYKWIM.

    Hi ladies!

I didn't give in to temptation on Sunday and I remember what Mrs B said about options (a while ago) and I found one in the cupboard so i had that and it both filled me up and stopped the craving-so thanks Mrs Bartolozzi!

Weigh day tomorrow just hoping that I have lost at least 1Ib-I have been good except that one day. I noticed a HUGE difference in my work trousers today-was on holiday last week so obviously I wasn't wearing them but honestly couldn't believe it, so even if I dont lost Ibs this week I know I have still lost weight.

Will let you know how it goes.

    Hi Everyone!

Well, this evening was my first weigh in so I went to the pharmacy. I lost 5 pounds!! I have lost an inch from my waist as well.

I am really pleased as I haven't struggled or felt deprived all week.

Plus it is that TOTM so I don't know if that makes a difference to the loss.

I might do some more exercise this week!:j

I am so super duper excited!!

    Angel Jenny :A
