    hello... just an update

ok so i dont know what happened this week, i remained the same...hmm HOWEVER half a stone in the first week was great! ALSO i can actually see the results even if no weight has physically come off.. iv lost a total of 6 inches in 14 days...thats 2 off my waist and 2 off my bust (back fat lol) and 2 off my arms. im a size 12 on top and a 14/16 on bottom...i really wanna be a 10 on top and 12 on bottom.. and id be so happy with that...(i have natural curves);) ideally i want to lose another 2 stone getting me down to 10.5 stone.

Anyway even though no weightloss the inches do the talking

    how is everyone else doing?

p.s. well done annab..keep it up ..are you starting to see the results?

Hi All, just had my first official weigh in this morning and have lost 6lb!!!
My first week has gone brilliantly. Had the odd moment of hunger but nothing bad enough to make me head for the carbs. I love this diet! :j

Its so easy and really motivating to see pounds coming off. I have also lost 1 inch off my waist, 1 off my chest and 2 off my hips (which is where I really need to lose it the most).

How are other people getting on???

Hello all! I spotted the Celebrity Slim plastered all over the chemist this morning when I went to pick up my antibiotics so I came home and Googled it and have been reading the whole thread on and off all day - sad but true! I wanted to get a real sense of what it was all about before I forked out, and after reading all your comments I'm definitely going to give it a go, once I'm back to full health.

I did the Atkins about ten years ago before it became popular - it really worked for me but was expensive and repetitive, especially with none of the low-carb options around that are now available. So, I know all about low-carb diets (it isn't actually no-carb as previously quoted) and I know that it suits me, and thought that this would be an easier option - has anyone else come at it from the same angle?

Hi there! I also did Atkins several years ago and Celebrity Slim is similar in the sense that you are essentially cutting out bread, potatoes, pasta etc. I would describe it as a mixture of Atkins and Slim Fast except the milkshakes are REALLY nice and creamy and do actually fill you up! :T
I know what you mean though, it can be repetitive but there are plenty of low carb recipies on the Irish website which will vary your diet which you didnt really get with Atkins.
Personally this is the easiest diet I've ever been on as I'm essentially an incredibly lazy person and can't be bothered to do alot of cooking which has usually been my downfall on weightwatchers, slimming world etc.
So much easier to grab a milkshake. I think the cost evens itself out as you are not needing to buy food for two meals.

Hope this helps and good luck if you decide to try it:o

    Hi everyone

I have been reading a lot about this CS diet but still have a few questions.
I only have about a stone to lose, has anyone been in the same boat and tried this diet? Does it still work?
I go to the gym and eat right but its difficult to shift this last stone so was thinking of tryin the CS diet.

Is it mixed with milk or water? as sounds very similar to slim fast, I tried this after xmas and did really well on it but now it doesnt seem to work for me and im not losing anything  so was wondering if CS would work instead?

    would appreciate ur feedback :j

althou dont think i fancy putting it im tea either

i follow these diets well but its frustrating when the weight doesnt come off, think my body has become to use to slim fast as its leaving me hungry as well now (it never use too in the beginning)
    Thanks :j
