I found that I felt a bit bloated this afternoon, in fact my stomach feels odd but I think that this is the adjustment. Peppermint tea seems to calm it down a lot and thank goodness I like to drink it.
I had a massive ham salad for tea and a CS bar - I should've had half but ate all of itand wish I hadn't - they really feel like a lead weight but I didn't have a yoghurt.
I've worked out that I have 62lbs to loose to be at a good BMI. If I loose 5lbs average a week then I'll be on CS for 12 weeks. Is 5lb a week a realistic goal?
*Tries not to feel panic about this*
think 5lbs a week a bit much tbh, you should aim fir 2-3 to sustain it0 -
Hi everyone, I'm another newbie. I started the programme on Thursday this week. I have got half my body weight to shift so it is going to take a while.:o At the moment it is going ok, I have substituted all my meals with replacements at the mo 'cos I really want a break from 'normal' eating. I even managed not to crack last night when the rest of the family had stuff from the fish and chip shop for tea....I had my shake before it arrived then went off and had a long bath and by the time I came down again it had all been cleared away so there was only the smell to contend with:T Anyway, best of luck to everyone just starting, I've really enjoyed reading all the posts it is nice to have people in the same boat.

inspired by the posts, put on about 2 stone (on top of the stone and half i was already over) when i gave up smoking (almost 4 months). starter pack arrived today, will begin on Tuesday after the bank holiday. never tried a diet like this always thought they were a gimmick but need some rapid weight loss, nothing fits and my self confidence has gone.0

Hi, delivery took 2 days for me - ordered Monday am, arrived Wed am.
Just thought I check in as it's day 3 for me and the weekend - thought it would be really hard today but surprisingly feel fine, bit tired but crap week at work might account for that not the diet.
The headache that I had on Day 2 has gone and I've found that the slight tummy ache I had Thursday afternoon has gone. I have two maybe useful tips:
I make the soup up in a mug (the powder makes two mugs) and this feels like it lasts longer - all in the mind but anything helps.
Second tip: a squeeze of lemon juice really livens up water. Weirdly I'm ok with the eight glasses although a walk along the river this afternoon was like Chinese water torture!Dieting for IVF, proud of my curves but not the wobbly bits!0 -
What is the 'blalnced meal' im hoping it is just that but i have heard that this is no carb based, can I still have pasta and bread:(?????
No you can't have carbs until maintenance and this part of the plan tells you to introduce them slowly. Terrifying thought but I'm getting used to it - made my husband a huge bowl of pasta tonight and didn't flinch too much! A balanced meal could be protein and veg or salad. The first night I had a huge ham salad and half a CS bar. Last night was tuna steak with steamed veg and an apple but I found the acidity of the apple didn't agree with me very well and tonight it was chicken salad and some stewed rhubarb with orange juice. Hope that helps.
Your post about the last supper made me laugh! I had a massive serving of lasagne and dough balls, half a bottle of wine and an apple turnover with dairy cream. May as well go out in style!Dieting for IVF, proud of my curves but not the wobbly bits!0 -
