Hello all,
Another new person here and I thought would drop by to introduce myself. I was told about celebrity slim by my hairdresser months ago. I’ve been through two rounds of IVF and gained weight, mostly due to comfort eating after the second attempt ended in a miscarriage. I’ve lost about a stone on Weight Watchers and half a stone on Slimming World but find that I struggle with time. I can’t stand all that waiting around in image therapy meetings thinking its time better spent in the gym or walking, and trying to remember if I’ve eaten all my healthy extrasUnfortunately my doctor has banned me from doing Lighter Life.
Anyway, here I am waiting for my starter pack having been inspired by all your posts. I need, must and have to drop my BMI down to 30. I have to say I think BMI is a debatable as a measuring tool since muscle is more than fat but it’s the way the NHS measure the viability for IVF and currently I’m on 31 and stuck there. I’m actually going for a BMI of 25 as I’ve convinced myself that I need to in order not to miscarry again. That and I’m fed up with being large. I want to be curvy and sexy for at least a few weeks before the IVF until I turn into a hormonal cow! My other aim is some nice red, lacy undies and to throw away the fat, hold it all in knickers.
I’m actually looking forward to it, it seems like I might get somewhere.Dieting for IVF, proud of my curves but not the wobbly bits!0 -
Hi All, Just into my second week and all is going well, kost of my cravings have now passed, but having 2 young children and having a sweet / chocolate cupboard cdan some times be a pain!

Everybody keep up the good work. :j0 -
I have been reading this forum for a few weeks now and read all your amazing success stories... as a result I am off to buy my first pack of CS tomorrow... It seems that all i needed was a little encouragement to see if it actually worked or not.
Now comes the fun part
My mum is starting alli (the new diet pill) and i am starting CS tomorrow.. it will be great to see the effects of both and who loses more.
Il keep you informed on the progress! :j
Also a quick question....are the soups any good?0 -
hello,
My wife and I have been on CS for 5 weeks now and I have lost 1st 7lbs and my wife 11lbs.
Have not found it too hard - shakes are great and soups aren't too bad (tomato one isn't great!)
Have also been running 2/3 times a week which has really helped - but feeling so much better and in smaller clothes already
Have stuck to it most of the time but have included the odd few glasses of wine each week and had pasta a couple of times  but generally stuck to it. Have found as long as drinking lots of water you don't tend to feel hungry
Well done to everyone who has lost weight and if you are thinking about it - just do it!!!!!!

Good work mate
Just had a way and have gone from 18st 4lb to 17st 1/2 in 8 days. Already exceeding all my expectations! Really enjoying it and gonna keep on going!0 -
Day 1 of the diet then. I had a massive pig out on naughty food last night and beer!!
Strawberry shake for breakfast, really nice (I’ve been taking Promax Diet and gave up after a week as it’s awful!!)
Snack was a Sainsburys’ kids cheese. At 20g a little bit less than allowed but much easier to weight out
Lunch is beef soup disguising itself as mushroom.
Apple this afternoon and a big ham salad for tea.
I find the food is fine, but I shall have to get my mind around not grazing on fruit - I miss my banana and snacking on grapes. I didn’t realise until I started it today, how much food consumes my life which has alarmed me a little. I shall concentrate on drinking water to get over it.
Can anyone tell me if rhubarb is allowed as a fruit please?Dieting for IVF, proud of my curves but not the wobbly bits!0 -
