  • Hi all

Thought I'd dive in here. I saw CS in a chemist, wondered what the heck it was and came home to start googling. I landed up here and read this whole thread and decided to give it a go.

That was 9 days ago. I lost 7lbs in the first week and can honestly say it hasn't been bad at all. I bought the starter pack and ALL the shakes were great, except the coffee ones (I don't do coffee in any shape or form!) which I gave to my other half.

He's doing it too, and has also lost half a stone. It's easy to do as a couple, although to be honest it hasn't been as hard as I thought. We've decided to really go for it and stocked up on a month's supply.... so watch this space!

Thanks to all those who've posted about their experience. I wouldn't have tried it if you hadn't made it sound possible.

  • Hi all, been on CS for 1 week and lost 9 lbs! After 6 days a friend asked if I had lost weight - I was delighted! Only thing is, I am pretty hungry, but wonder if this is due to my body craving carbs - I really am the carb queen, love them in any shape or form. Worried too that I will put the weight back on when I go back to eating carbs. Still have about 3 stone to lose - 1 stone for each baby! Help!

You are doing brilliantly - keep it up!! More water helps the hunger, and if you go to the cs website - there are loads of ideas for help if you are still hungry...

Im struggling to get back into it this time round, but I will get there. I think its largely cos the weather is so nice now - theres no great incentive to have soup!!!! I WILL do it again though - I have another 4 stone to go really - though anything down htat stays down is a bonus!

Hi all, well done on your weight losses everyone!
I've about 1.5 stone to lose, so I'm wondering if CS would be a suitable diet? Is it really an atkins type of diet where you avoid carbs? I've been reading about some low carb replacement programmes and they require you to have a BMI of 28 or above, which I am not. Plus I don't think I could afford CS for longer than a month or two, would that be enough time to shift the weight? Anyone with a similar experience?

    Cheers! :)
  • mapcr77 - I'm exactly the same... I'd like to lose just under 2 stone... ideally before I go traveling in July... I'm going to start it tomorrow with the 7 weeks start pack. I think it will be suitable for our weightloss but maybe just a bit slower....

I'm going to do the 8 week challenge that they seem to suggest to try - I hoping that'll help to get me there... or very close!

So although I don't have answers for u... I'm in the same boat!
  • I've just found out about cs at the chemist today then looked it up on internet all afternoon. Been really surprised by how good it sounds and motivated by everyone here. Never done a proper diet before so still very cynical about it! Worried that I'll be hungry all the time.... and that for some reason it wont work on me. I'v got to do something because the weight has been gradually creeping up on me over the years and I havnt really done much about it....love my grub too much!! At 5'6'' I weigh about 12st7lbs so really need to loose 2 1/2 st. So I've decided to take the bull by the horns and give it a go starting saturday and i'm going to try it for 8 weeks if i can. If anyones got any tips i would love to hear from you. Well here goes....HELP!!

You will be grand tilly, its the best diet Ive ever done.

Having said that - Ive not done it at all (short of a couple of shakes!) since my return - my motivation has gone a bit out the window, and Ive been so busy at work, Ive almost craved the therapy of carbs this last week...

BUT Im back part time next week (yay!!) so Im definately starting agian then, when I have more dog walking time, and gardening time

    Good Luck !!

  • Hi all!! This is my very first post on these forums. Today is day 6 of my CS diet and yesterday I just couldn't resist stepping on the scales (tut tut :-D ) but to my amazement I had lost 4lb!! :-D I want to lose a further 16lb and hopefully keep it off for good!! I have found the plan quite easy to stick to, however, I don't particularly like the bars as they leave as horrible taste in my mouth and leave me feeling quite sickly. Does anyone else have the same problem?? The shakes are great and I would definitely recommend some moderate exercise combined with the programme as you will see better results!!

Best of luck to fellow and newbie Celebrity Slimmers!!
  • Hey all, i am considering doing this diet too altho its an expense i cud do without, i am desperate to lose weight, does the weight come off quicker if u just have shakes to begin with? anyone done it that way?

Any tips or advice would be greatly received!

Well done to all who are losing weight so far, hopefully i will be one of you soon!

    Love
