Seems like everyone has stopped posting; or given up on the CS diet??

I’m back on it after a four day blip!! Was feeling really low on Saturday; so gave in and had a pea omelette and then ate small portions of carby food all meals Sun/Mon/Tues.

But.... at my 2 week weigh in on Monday I realised I’d lost another 8 lbs so making 1stone 4lbs in the two weeks total – hence being back on with a vengeance today. And actually am enjoying it again today so maybe a little break wasn’t the end of the world. And i kept up the small meals and water thing.

How is everyone else doing??? Any tips for dealing with the hot buttered toast craving would be much appreciated.

  • Hi,

I started CS last Friday and am loving it. :j It's so easy, and great to not have to think what to have for breakfast/lunch. Jumped on the scales this morning and have lost 5 pounds which I'm thrilled about. Feel so much thinner!
There have been times when I've felt a bit hungry, but have been munching on sliced red pepper and small cubes of cheese (low fat) which have seemed to do the trick. I've also been having Atkins Day Break bars as an allowable snack.
As you can have a good meal once a day and the soups and bars are delicious, it's easy to do and I don't feel deprived. Here's to the next week!!

Has anybody on here finished the Celebrity Slim diet yet? I'd be interested to know how easy they've found it to keep the weight off. I'm worried that not eating 'real' food, that as soon as the diet ends, the weight will pile back on? Are any of you worried about that side of things at all?

    Hi,
There is a maintenance section in the booklet that comes with the starter pack that explains all. Also, if you look on the forum on the cs website, you'll see plenty of advice and help from people who have completed the diet. (Though the forum has just changed today and not all the info or threads have been transferred to the new one yet). Hope this helps!!

I'm sorta worried about that bit too - think i'm only doing so well as being ultra strict...

But least i'll prove to myself i can lose weight.

Good point. It's good to prove to yourself that you're not a medical wonder, and if you eat less you CAN loose weight! I had convinced myself something along those lines, until I stuck to low calories for a week and saw the results on the scales! And after that there's no kidding yourself, you have to do the work to see the results.

I'm getting married in four weeks time, and I was considering this or CD as a last minute boost, but I don't want to spoil anything. I was 14st 3lb when I started, and I'm down to 11st now, I'm worrying that going and doing something different will upset things. BUt I'd hoped to be 10st , and I don't think it'll happen within 4 weeks!!

    Hi everyone,

Went out and bought the starter pack today and had my first shake...not bad at all. I had the Strawberry one...yum!

I have a question about the Snack....it mentions having an apple, orange or 1/2 CS bar etc but what I noticed in the book it the combined snacks and I wondered if anyone has them. I just think that having these snacks will be better than just a piece of fruit. Examples of the combined allowabale snacks are:

Small tin of tuna in spring water with a dessest spoon of mayo, spring onion and lettace or some grilled mushrooms topped with cheese and herbs or small salad with ham/chicken....to me these snacks are better than just having an apple or orange for example.

Just wondering what other peoples views on this are.

Keep up the good work everyone.
