Hello everyone, Well i made a massive mistake last night, my mate got married on valentines day and never told anyone so i went and had a drink with them and had 1 and 1/2 bottles of wine (which is not bad for me) and i was so sick all night and all day today, i still feel rough! (Note to self don't have more than a glass when your on a low carb diet).
Think i need to have a chinese tonight to feel better!!!!
I will be back on it tomorrow, can't believe how well everyone is doing, keep it up!!!0 -
Hello everyone,
I've read all about celebrity slim and i've decided to start it. I've ordered so hopefully tomorrow when it turns up I can join you all. I really don't like milk so i'm hoping I can stomach the milkshakes, i've ordered some soups and bars just incase I can't.
I've already lost 12lbs eating healthily and walking more but I'm sick of losing just 1-2lbs a week and wanted to try something more drastic for a couple of weeks. I'm intrigued to see what happens when I switch back to healthy eating, will the weight go straight back on? I have been on a pretty low carb plan anyway, my meals have been made on the principle quarter of my plate meat, quarter potato and half veg
Sheeps Teeth I know exactly how you feel, I did Atkins this time last year and had a few g&t's at a friends house and i've never felt more ill in my whole life! I think you need carbs to cope with a hangover!Best Wins * wag for a day = £1500 selfridges vouchers * 4 VIP V Festival tickets * Flights to New York * £1000 *
Thank You to everyone who posts comps!

Hi folks, well today is *officially* my first whole week on Celebrity Slim. Although as I said I had started on low carbs since the Sunday before last.
I have to say, quite honestly.......bet your all wondering what i am going to say haha.....that I absolutely love Celebrity Slim. :T
I have been on track and following the diet to the letter and i have to say the results have been breathtaking, even though i have had next to no exercise yet due to a little spell in bed as i call it :rotfl:so im expecting even better results next week.
Well, I haven't weighed myself yet and i dont think i will. Weighing, for me at least, leads to disaster. i either get dead chuffed and decide to "treat" myself (for the nxt year) or dead down and decide to "cheer" myself.
the results are great. i look like that beach ball i had under my jumper is going down fast . wOOOOT0 -
Hello All! :hello:
Is there room for another 'not-so-little' one?
Just started CS yesterday & even walked to the chemist to get it, then back again (thought I'd better start as I mean to go on)! Have to say that, like so many of you, I was more than a little dubious of taking the plunge into CS shakes. I've got absolutely no willpower whatsoever & could live on carbs alone, plus I thought the shakes would taste awful. How wrong I was... they're gorgeous & I'm not a fan of milkshakes as a rule, unless of course they're made by the fair hand of Mr Ronald McDonald!
It's because I'm such a carb-junkie that I'm hoping this will be the diet for me, coz I'll have to stay away from them altogether; so there's no tempation to put extra helpings of them on my plate and also, with any luck, I'll realise that they're not the be-all & en-all ingredient in every meal (fingers crossed).
You all sound like you're going great guns - Congratulations!
I should have been in bed over an hour ago, but stumbled upon this thread & have been glued to reading all your posts - I started at the beginning, but had to draw the line at around page 4 when I saw the time coz I wanted to register & post a message before I go to bed!
Oh, BTW - I'm looking to lose about 4 stone, anyone any opinions on approximately how long it may take me to achieve this?
Bye for now...

Hi all, another here to join in. I had decided to start on Atkins but after seeing this I thought I would give it a try and hopefully lose a good few pounds in a couple of weeks then switch over to Atkins once I have lost a bit and given myself a bit of a boost.
I have over 4 stones Actually closer to 5 to lose. I have put on an extra 2 stones since stopping smoking and its really getting to me, so its the shakes from tomorrow.0 -
Ive come iff for a few days - it was my birthday yesterday, and Ive got a weekend away with teh OH planned for this weekend,so having had chocolate yesterday (but not had carbs as such - just lots of sugar!!!) and going away (which will involve lots of excercise
) I figured I may as well stay low carb till Monday, and start again there.
Will be interesting to see what happens to my weight doing the next four days though - I still havent had carbs, but the sugar is the same thing pretty much!! Am just going to watch my portion sizes, and keep my fingers crossed !!!
well done everyone - hello newbys, and dont despair - Ive got at least 4st to lose too,so we are all in the same boat!!! xxxDo not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Hi everyone
Well this is end of my second week on CS and I am very happy. I have lost another 3lbs this week so that is 7lbs in total. I feel so much better. I do find dieting very hard but have managed to stick to this one most of the time. I have about 4 stone to lose so I am looking at months rather than weeks of dieting (but don't want to depress myself too much). At the moment I intend to stay on this diet until the end of March and then see how much I've lost and how I feel.
By the way I've not even done one jot of exercise yet so I think these are pretty good results (just wanted to settle into the diet first) - I am going to start some exercise in the next couple of weeks and join the gym aswell so hopefully this will add to the weight loss. I will definitely need to do some exercise to try and tone things up a bit. Lol!
Keep up the good work everyone!0 -
Hi
Another CS starter here
I've lost 5lbs in 5 days, need to remember to get meat out of freezer overnight though as I keep forgetting and am living on omelettes!
Anyhoo - I'm well impressed so far, not feeling hungry, but thought I'd share some MSE tips.....
In Pick Me Up magazine (68p - dated 26th Feb) there is a voucher for a FREE shake - it doesnt expire till end of March
I had a bit of a trial last week and went in with 7 vouchers to the pharmacy and they were honoured without batting an eye
So I've just bought another 10 copies of the mag.....
Also someone mentioned Atkins bars being similar to the CS bars - I went to Boots and these were on 3 for 2 - but once there is just over a month left on the date they go to half price - worth keeping an eye out for - I've been using 1/2 of one for a snack when at work and they ended up at 92p and then 3 for 20 -
Can anyone tell me how many calories there are in sachets and bars please?Start Date: 27/11/2010
Padding: Day 42
Target £8000
Amount: £562.230 -
Hello everyone, i am so shocked at how good this diet is and everyone is doing so well! I have tried so hard not to weigh myself until saturday but i can't help it, i have lost another 6lbs this week i am over the moon. The thought of being in a bikini for 2 weeks in st Lucia doesn't seem so bad now! I would like to get down to 10 and a 1/2 stone so 1 stone to go!
My Fiancee has been away for 6 months and gets back 2 weeks before our wedding and i can't wait to see his face when he sees how much weight i have lost!
Well done and keep up the good work!!!!
Think i might have to get some of those atkins bars, i keep skipping my snacks as i am just not hungry!:j0
