I am going to buy CS this weekend so don't have the "instructions" yet but notice that some of you have mentioned having half an Atkins bar as a snack. Is this recommended by CS? Don't want to blow it early on!0

Hello Everyone!
Well...I've just had my first delivery of CS, really excited about starting, though am not going to begin 'til Monday, as have a full on weekend ahead! Really hope i like the shakes etc, am sure I will, having read that you all seem to enjoy them! Wish me luck!!0 -
I have been on this diet for a few days now and I am struggling and really hungry and bloated (painfully). I have joined the forum on the website but they dont seem to answer questions from everyone. I want to eat quorn as I have tried tofu for the last few days and life is just miserable. If I cannot eat quorn on this diet I cannot see myself continuing but would be grateful for some advice if anyone has any - thanks. Both the shakes and the bars are lovely but without a decent dinner I am very unhappy as I am waking up in the middle of the night hungry. I want to lose the weight but not be unhappy doing it.0

hi there. are you eating enough carbs? you can eat max 120g of carbs a day. count how much you get in your shakes, bars, (or whatever you have for breakfast and lunch and snacks) and the rest you can have as an evening meal (provided you dont eat it too late!)
quorn is fine as long as it's in your daily intake of carbs. I would imagine that you're consuming less carbs than recommended if you're that hungry and are you having your snacks inbetween? it's also important that you drink enough water. the evening meal is really important. your plate should be 2/3 veg or salad and 1/3 protein. so eggs, quorn, lean meat are ideal. Just remember it's not a carb free diet, it's a balanced diet with a restricted amount of carbs. keep a diary of how much carbs and cals you're cosuming to see how it's going.0 -
Nice to meet another person from Wales. This has been the most help I have had so far. I dont know why I missed the fact you could have 120g carbs so I will make sure I will check. I am definitely drinking the water and having all the snacks. Any suggestions about the permanent painful bloating would be very much appreciated. Thanks again0

Hi yes some have metioned on here about eating the atkins bars as snacks. Haven't tried them personally but have looked at them in tesco and notice that they're much higher in fat than the CS ones, so I tend to stick to the CS ones. I really like them, takes forever to eat a whole bar as a meal (lunch normally) but what I normally do is cut them into bite size and eat them with a nice cup of coffee (I allow myself two coffees a day with a little milk and no sugar!) I normally work through lunch so munching through a bar infront of the pc ormally takes 15 mins and fills me up untill teatime!0 -

Hi, yes I'm a fellow Welshie (shame about the rugby result tonight)
I notice that there's a helpline on the celebrity slim webpage, maybe it'd be worth giving them a ring? I personally haven't had any side affects. x0 -

I did LL and did really well on that (well, I DID but then I went and put it all back on again) and I could never get to grips with Cambridge Diet...anyway, would love to give Celebrity Slim a go, but I'd like a question answered before I start.
Water - 2 litres - can this be diluted in sugar free squash? I cannot drink plain water on its own (bleurk) so this would really put me off if I couldn't dilute it with squash. If I can't, do they do a water flavouring?
Hi, I have sugar free squash as well as water. it's the sugared version you need to avoid as sugar is carbs. you can also have sugar free fizzy drinks in moderation, but obviously water is better for you0
