Made my cafe latte shake hot - tastes like sorta malty coffee. not to bad.
Soo craving bread. made my boyf lunch all i could think was "mmmm soft white bread and butter" and "mmmm hot toast dripping with butter". I am sitting here practicably dribbling on his shoulder; and its only beans on toast and eggs.I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -
Probably been answered hundred of times already but whats the difference between this and slim fast?
And are any of you just having these shakes 3 times a day replacing all your meals like with cambridge

Only on my second day but my plan is to have three shakes a day - but only for 4-5 days. I know i will eat too much for my evening meal and be tempted to have too much. I'm trying to be really strict for the first 5 difficult days. Today so far have had two shakes; half a choc fudge bar; and 35g wafer thin ham. Had 6 pints of water and one coffee.
I don't think i feel hungry but i haven't got that satified full feeling like food would give. Pretty tired; but just come on and feel no different to how i normally would that time-of-the-month.
The plan was too have anouther shake for tea but not sure if i will??
BTW; i have approx 1/2 ton to lose so have enough fat to rely on for long while.I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -
Hiya all, I am a newbie but have been reading this forum for the past week or so. I first heard about the diet from a friend who said that her friend had done it and lost loads of weight and was looking really good ( I didnt realise at the time that I actually knew my friends friend by sight ).
So there I was flicking through my magazine when I came across an advert for CS and I thought hang on a min I recognise that face, it was my friends friend Lesley. I saw her a few days later at my local supermarket and she looks fantastic!!!!!!
Anyway after seeing her and reading all your comments I thought I should give it a go ( that and the fact that I found somewhere where I can buy CS cheap :T as it is very expensive for this credit crunch time:( ).
So here I am on day 4 of the diet and have already lost 5lbs!!!!! Im finding it very easy to stick to and have so far enjoyed all the shakes I have tasted, strawberry, chocolate, banana and cafe latte.
The only downside to this diet is needing to run to the toilet every half hr and my little girl wanting to follow me every time lol, trying to get a 2 yr old to hurry up when you need a wee is not easy!
You all seem to be doing really well so keep it up and I hope I can achieve the same results.0 -
As its my first day, not sure if i've got it right.
Today i've had choc shake, beef soup, 1/2 apple, 1 mandarin, 30g cheddar, chicken breast, brocolli, carrots, green beans, cauliflower, 2 litres water and 3 coffees with semi milk but no sugar or sweetener!!
Is this ok?? XX
I think thats ok, though i was looking on cs forum, and they said that you should limit your fruit intake to 1 a day. Think this is because fruit high in sugar which is carbohydrate. Hope this helps!:o0 -

Just ordered a weeks worth of shakes and a week of soup and a little shaker!
Can't wait for them to arrive!
I'm going to try 3 a day for a few days like Amy!
My problem is sweet stuff and I cram bags full of sweets into my mouth so I'm hoping a break from all food apart from the shakes/soups will help with that!

Not doing so well today. So far had a vanilla shake for brekkie and a choc shake for lunch. Snacks were apple and carrot batons but i feel soo lerthargic and down. Did get a long (2.5 hr) walk in though.
My poor boyfriend feels so bad for sitting there eating while i have a small glass of shake!! I had carrot batons in McDonalds while he had burgers... Currently he's eating my fav meal. Sausage, Chips beansn and tons of buttered white bread.
Sorry for whinging at you all.... really need to get a grip - its only food.I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -

A little advice please? We are going to a friends on Friday for Indian takeaway, been planned for a while!
Is there a lesser of 2 evils, I won't have rice or naan but what main chicken meal would be best and do you think I could have an onion bhaji?
Oh and I know I can have a couple of glasses of red/white wine but what about Rose?
