Hi there, what I've noticed on this diet is if I have the shake and an apple then I feel hungry. I would suggest during the day you eat snacks like, homous and cumber, celery etc say in the morning, then have an boiled egg with a bit of salad in the afternoon or 30g of cheese wrapped in a piece of ham as these are more filling snacks than an apple. I usually save the apple or fruit and yoghurt snack for dessert after my main meal so I'm still eating some fruit everyday. Hope this helps0

Hiya, Newbie here :EasterBun
I think this thread is doing really well so I had to join. It's been really infromative and helpful since i ordered the Celebrity Slim diet pack on Saturday night n a bit of an impulse. I had been with Weight Watchers for nearly a year but truth be told my heart wasn't really in it and i think i lost about 5 at most the whole time, which is disgraceful really. I think that the Celebrity Slim plan of seeing fast results is a good one for people like me who need to be spurned on my that.
I am a bit wary of these diets though, I mean, I have noticed a bit of a trend here that people lost a lot at first, then less every week and I noticed that you have put on 3 pounds after a bad weekend. I mean, how bad could it have been to put on 3 whole pounds? So i am worried that once you come off this diet you come off hard and then start piling the weight back on again.
That is really just my main concern
Im waiting for DHL to deliver it now and i have been on it really since Saturday because I only had meat and veg on sunday (no roasties or yorkshires) I have been drinking plenty of water as well.
My MAIN issue is getting up in the middle of the night and just stuffing my face. Last night I ate a bag of mars planets, a bag of mini cheddars and 2 packets of chicken crisps (with added mustard)!!:eek: i mean, that IS shocking! LOL oh dear
Oh well, may as well get it all out now I suppose. LOL
I am 5'4'' and im 14stoneso i need to lose about 4 stone but ideally i want to be 8 stone so 6 stone. aaaaaah

Dont be put off by the fact I put three on this weekend. When I said I celebrated hard, I really mean it. I hadnt touched carbs for four weeks until this weekend. I didnt stick to the diet at all, I didnt even go for sensible eating I just went for it. I had bread, pizza, crisps, copious amounts of alcohol, yorkshire puddings, stuffing, potatoes - everything you shouldnt have so I have been really bad.
Im confident it will come off this week!

Hey everyone not official weigh in day... should be tomorrow but I couldn't resist weighing today (day 6) and I have a loss of 6.5 lbs
- this is top of a heavy sat nite and an accidental mcdonalds after too much drink hehe!!
I find that I am not really that hungry, no cravings for chocolate, cereal (my biggest downfall as used to have at least 2 bowls a day on top of all my other meals!) or fizzy drinks! I am actually having to make sure I don't miss the snacks as I really don't feel like I am starving for them! I admit I have missed some snacks in the last couple of days - should I make sure I always eat something for them???0 -
Well I'm on to my third day now and doing quite well. Yesterday I felt great until I was over at a friends house and she had just ordered pizza:mad: . With the greatest will power I took myself off to make a cup of tea and to keep my mind of it! Very proud of myself for resisting the temptation
.
I'm feeling quite weak this morning but will keep at it. I've got a lunch out on Saturday and am looking forward to that but at the same time if I resisted pizza then I know I can make the right choices when I'm out (I hope).
Keep up the good work everyone!0 -
