my jeans are much looser than they were - so with a bit of luck i will look gorgeous enough to make the most wonderful man in the world think im totally fab next Saturday (not just "oh shes nice, but wide" like so many) - then he can continue to be amazed by my fabulous wit and utter gorgeousness (!) as time goes on and I continue getting smaller...

but anyway - thats not the real reason Im doing it - for the first time ever, Im dieting because I want to, not cos Im being made to think I need to and nagged.... Im findign this SOOOO easy to stick with (especially compared with others ive tried), and it really really fills me up. My weight loss hasnt been that exciting really - having had a good start, I think ive only actually dropped about 5/6lbs, but thats all good too - Id rather look slim than weigh less if Im honest,so yay that too!!

Combine that with the fact that I feel FANTASTIC - Ive got loads of energy now,and I havent been this happy in a LONG time - and bingo, I think this may well be my perfect diet :):):)

  • Hi ladies, I'm new.... been on CS for 3 days now - had a dull headache for a couple of days but not too bad. I am thirsty all the time, has anyone else had that and do you know why? Shakes are goooooood and very easy. I really don't know if I'm doing it right as not as much guidance as other diets, do we just avoid carbs altogether, they are slippery little things as they appear everywhere!! The Atkins bars - should you have them for a snack or a meal.....? Might weigh myself tomorrow got about 3st 7lb to lose... x x x x x
  • I've decided to give this a try as everyone on here has been very positive about it. Ideally I'd like to lost 12lbs in 3 weeks. I've got to fit into a bridesmaid dress for a friends wedding. I will be combiningg the plan with exercise as I'm a member of a gym. I hope if i can get motivated for a couple of weeks then between the plan and exercise i should lose the weight. Wish me luck!

Hi you two - very very good luck!!

Im having the Atkins bars half at a time as two of my snacks - and Im treating the meal time as meat and veg, rather than getting in too much of a twist - I havent craved bread, pasta or potatoes at all - which is amazing for me cos they are my favourite foods!!!

I havent been back to boots for weighing since - life seems to have got in the way, but I got on my scales this morning, and according to my scales (and allowing for the fact that they are about a pound and a half lighter than boots'!!) Ive lost about 10lbs in the two weeks Ive been on it so far....

    WHOOP WHOOP !!!!!!

    New year,new man,new me...... wahey!!!!

Hi I was told to try restrict my carbs intake to 120g a day. There are some carbs in the shake etc (around 26g I think) so when you even it out it's quite a bit really considering most lean meat, fish etc are 0g. I personally try to avoid carbs after my tea around 6pm.
