tell us what your normal daily diet is...
I Have a shake for breakfast and half a bar mid morning a shake for lunch also the rest of the bar for afternoon snack.
When i get home i have my tea which is usually a salad with chicken or omlette and mayonaise.
I can only drink about 3 glasses of water, I thought this would be the ideal diet. I have done slimming world for 3 weeks and lost 6 lbs so i am abit disheartend.Any ideas0 -

Sophie, from reading your daily plan I would say:
You're not drinking enough water - you must drink at least 2ltrs a day (8 glasses), it flushes the rubbish out of your system. Try a slice of lemon then it doesnt taste so boring;
Probably not incorporating enough fruit and veg;
You dont mention having a snack after your tea. They do recommend six small meals a day (three main, three snack); and

I donot have anything after tea because i donot like natural yogurt . have you any suggestions for anything else?
I will try to have more water can you use diluted fruit juice in it.
The headaches seem to have eased today and feeling alot better today so that is one good thing.
i see you have lost 5lb in first week what did you do ? That is great news for you well done:T . i was expecting this much but maybe i am eating the wrong things like mayo and not enough water

You dont have to have yoghurt for your evening snack. You could have your half a meal bar then you feel like you're having a treat with a cup of tea (that what I did in the first week). Substitute one of your other snacks with fruit.
I know it will work differently for people but my typical day in the first week:
Breakfast: Celeb slim shake
Snack: Apple
Dinner: Celeb slim soup
Snack Orange
Tea: lean meat (pork chop/steak/ham/tuna), loads of veg or salad (the rule is 1/4 protein and 3/4 veg)
Snack: 1/2 Celeb meal bar
Additional fluids: 2 ltrs of water and three cups of tea.
I dont think you can have juice in your water unfortunately.
I had headache on day three but just for that day, I also got the cold type symptoms for one day.
I'll post a list of recommended snacks for ideas.

30 g of tasty cheese or cottage cheese - they say the size of a match box
1 – 2 slices of deli meats such as ham. Avoid fatty types such as salami
30 g (small handful) of nuts such as raw almonds, peanuts, brazil nuts, walnuts or pistachio. Go easy of salted nuts and avoid coated nuts
Small snack size tin of tuna in water or brine preferably
2 sticks of celery with crunchy peanut butter

Well im still learning and we're all in the same boat so anything that I think may help i'll pass on. Likewise i'd like to hear any hints/tips or if you've found something really yummy we can eat!
Our local chemist isnt very friendly - I feel like they're judging me, even when I go to collect a prescription so I order onlinealthough it costs more that way :rolleyes:

It is important to drink the water.. I went away for the weekend and didnt keep to the 2 litres (didnt want to be running to the loo every few mins) weighed myself yesterday and had stayed the same as on last weigh in.. have been back on track so hopefully 2 full days of it before next weigh in might give me a little loss (fingers crossed!)
bought some of the atkins bars in boots and tesco on offer so gonna give them a whirl as the CS bars are very pricey IMO

Gosh - whenever I go in my local chemist for supplies its like our own little gossip session - its really fun !!! Im sorry that yours arent being very supportive.
Didnt go for weighin today - got on the scales at home and they said I was up on what I ahve been (but I dont drink nearly enough water - im hoping that had something to do with it) so I took the dog for a long walk instead. Ive still lost from when I started though - so its not all bad - just only about 3lbs instead of the 5/6 it was looking like I was on track for. Think I shall change weigh day to a Sunday or Monday,then at least I will be feeling a bit more up for it!!!
Is there anywhere you can buy the atkins bars seperately?? I dont want to go and spend a fortune on a box if I hate them....Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0
