HI. I managed one day on lighter life last week. I could not stand the soups and I was physically sick after drinking one of the shakes !!! I wandered if anyone had tried the Celebrity soups and also the Lighter Life ones - are they similar? Also, can you just have the soups and bars and not have any shakes ( i really hate milkshake!)
I need to loose four stone and have tried everything!!
Any advise would be appreciated.

Fraid I dont know - lighter life has never been an option for me. What I do know though is that the CS stuff tastes great - and works for me. I dont think there would be a problem with having soups instead of shakes - but the rowlands staff are really good with whats what - they should be able to help you....
but the shakes are good hot too - so its not like milkshake....
good luck !!
LaLa - wel done !!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Ahhhhh thanks. Had a really bad day today, stuffed chocolate and pastry..ah bcak on tomorrow....Hoping that walking through all the snow today might have helped with the sinning.

The soups are lovely...but i LOVE the shakes. Never been on LL but friend has and they didn't look the same and they didn't smell to great! All the soups look the same on CS but don't taste the same. The bars are lovely but v. expensive. The bars also don't make me feel as thirsty. Trust me always to
like the expensive things more....all in my mind x

Hi all! Was just wondering if I could join you on this please! I've been reading this thread for the last couple of days and today thought I'd register as I started CS yesterday (Thursday). I have 2 stone to lose and tried Slimming World last year... although I lost weight I'm not much of a cook so just couldn't stick to it and I've ended up putting more weight on than I was back then!
Anyways day 1 was good, I was far less hungry than when I was on SW, I even invested in an exercise bike yesterday... which I think I got more worn out putting it together than pedalling for the 25 mins I did hehe! :rotfl:
Well I'm onto day 2 now and have woke up with the 'dull headache'!! At least it must be working eh!
I've not tried the soups yet but do love the shakes - only had choc, strawberry and vanilla so far and this is coming from someone who really didn't like the taste of the slimfast one! I only managed 7 glasses of water yesterday (as I've never drunk so much water in one day!)
Anyway hope to chat soon everyone!0 -
oooh - good luck Laila !! and wait till you try the caramel one...... mmmmmmmmmDo not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0

Hi, Just to let you know you can use either shakes, bars or soups. Doesn't have to be shake for breakfast, can have a bar (soup if you really want! ha ha!) etc.
Use whichever products you like as your two daily CS meals....
a friend of mine has been on LL, and said the soups were powdery and horrible, even the smell was off putting. She, on the other hand, loves and really enjoys the CS soups.0 -
Thanks trudij! Well yesterday I tried the caramel one and it's gotta be my favourite!
Had Cafe Latte one today and not being a big fan of coffee flavoured things it's my least favourite! How are you getting on with CS anyway?

hi all...need advice...I know its not recommended as you should eat the nutritionally balances meal but do you think it would be ok to replace the meal with 3 shakes a day for 2 weeks?
I know some would say go on the cambridge or literlife but taste wise I hear they are not the same..
please help0 -
It does say you can have it 3 times a day if you want to - Im tempted to do that just to see if it makes me lose quicker - but Im doing really well at the moment (10lbs in 2 weeks) - and its cheaper to eat protein and veg than it is to have shakes or soups for my meal - so Im in two minds!!
I dont drink enough water - thats my biggest downfall. I do try, but I just dont manage it(which is obvious in ways which we dont want to get into here...!)
Im not a fan of the coffee one iether - tried it hot today in the hope that it may be better, but I prefer it (as much as I do!) cold. The vanilla one is luvverly hot - and the chocolate one is better hot than cold (imo)
no headache for me at all - i just feel fab!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Hi to all and well done.
hope you don't mind me joining you all
I'm new to this, but after reading all your post i thought I'd give it a go.
started last Wednesday, cant keep to just 3 coffees a day. slipped up tonight had 2 bits of toast, but weighed my self tonight and lost 6 lb not bad in 4days, i have been drinking more then 2 lts of water a day does that matter. how much veg can you have with your meal as I've been filling the plate with it.
well off for some more water.
keep up the good work to you all0
