Hi guys,
I have been drinking my two litres of water or just over that since Sunday night. I suffer from chronic constipation and can go for a good couple of weeks without a movement. total nightmare. So far, day two on the diet and still nothing so I hope it doesn't make it worse if that is possible lol. I'll keep on the water. Laxitives and softeners dont work for me either btw they just give me a tummy ache and don't do anything LOL. :rolleyes:0 -
Hi there,
Well it was my partners birthday this week so he decided he wanted to go to Pizza Hut as he's been on a diet for a while so wanted a blow out! lol. I decided I was going to be good so ordered a tomato and mozerella salad for starters and a prawn salad for main. The first salad was nice but the prawn salad was horrible, browning lettuce with little hard prawns - so still very hard to eat healthy in pizza hut. Anyway ended up having two pieces of pizza, also had a glass of wine but that is allowed on the diet.
Today is the end of my first week and despite last night I have lost 4lbs so I am very happy with thisBack on the diet today!

Hi guys, well I had to come straight here. I have just made the chocolate shake for breakfast. I was SOOO nervous about this, and a little miffed when I realise that they put FOUR chocolate shakes in the starter pack! I don't think I can over - estimate how nervous I felt about trying the chocolate simply down to REALLY bad *boak boak boak* experience with a Chocolate SlimFast shake one time *boak*.
WELL.....I can't tell you how GLAD I am that it is totally delicious. In fact, I think the reason they put four in is because it must be the favourite. its certainly mine....its nearly finished *weep*.
Anyway folks couple of things. I have been doing really really well, went shopping to Morrisons yesterday and didn't really feel tempted by all the baked goodies and crisps I thought I would miss this week NO! I had a really nice chicken stir fry for dinner but ended up eating quite a big plate of it but it should be ok since its just chicken and veggies eh? No carbs? ??? what do you think?
Anyhow, also realised I have only been drinking a litre and a half of water since the bottles i was using are 0.75ltr and not a litre each. It probably be ok because I have been drinking about 2 and a half a night anyway which makes it up to 2litres so it should be fine
I am finding being free of the carbohydrate monkey on my back a BIG relief. I am happy to stay away from sugar because I am really aware of how it made me feel, tired, sluggish, grumpy...FAAAT! hahaha
Anyone any soup recommendations for later? I had the creamy veg one it was ok I was on the move though. :-)0 -
hi
Thinking of doing this but I hav a possibly daft question - how do you make the soup? Is it like a cup a soup thingy as I have a hot water urn at work and can cumpt the powder in and add water to it - does it have to be an exact amount of water? Not sure if a normal cup would be big enough...0 -
You get the shaker in the starter pack with the measurements on the side. I put in 250ml of cold water for the milkshakes (it says 200-250ml) and shake for about 20 seconds. The shaker has a sports type cap so I suppose you could just drink straight from it if you want to.
ETA: Doh, just re-read ur post - u said the soup! just checked the sachet and the instructions are the same as above except you use boiling water obviously. You can still make it in the shaker. HTH0 -
Hello everyone, I am new to this and can't believe how well everyone is doing, i am really impressed.
I started SS on Saturday and shouldn't have weighed myself this morning but i did, i have lost 10lbs in 6 days i really can't beleive it. I only want to lose another half a stone this was just the kick up the bum i needed.
I am getting married in St Lucia in 2 months so thought i needed to lose it and fast and i am so happy with the results!
A few things i do on the diet might help other people, i have cordial in my water all the time, just the robinsons suger free one, I also have suger free jelly and put some berries in the bottom of the dish first its good as your last snack of the day. Oh yeah, yesterday i had an interview 2 hours away and forgot to take my lunch time shake with me so stopped at a service station and picked up a bag of fridge raiders (Tikka Flavour) they were gorgeous and it's just chicken so think i might have half a bag as a snack from now on. Hope some of this helps others.
Well done and good luck everyone.0 -
Don't shake the soup in the shaker!! It will explode! Put the boiling water in a large mug and then add the powder for the soup..
I've been doing CS for just over 4 weeks and lost 16lb.. fab diet!0 -
Hi all.. not been on here for a while
I've been on it 5 weeks and have lost 18lbs
You can do the soup in the shaker, but it takes a bit of doing.. as it will explode as mentioned, if not careful
I put a bit of cold water in and shake it up, then add the boiling in after this.. seems to work.. Do this for the choc shake too, its quite nice hot
good luck all0 -
