I'm leaving Ireland for Australia in 4 weeks and that is why I started CS...I have heard everyone is so slim!
I had a very good weight loss the first week (6lbs!) but not much since...I'm going to keep going for another two weeks in hope that I may drop 5lbs more.
I am being very active in the last 10 days - cycle approx 5 miles every day and ran a gruelling 10 miles last night...
Fingers crossed that I should lose the last few pounds before I have to get a bikini on! :)
  • Hi Guys

I have just started CS today, I have a fair bit to lose (4 stone ) which I have always struggled to do. I cycle to work 3 times a week (12miles all round) but I really love my food and cooking hence the problem! My other half is away for 7 weeks, so my plan is to stick with this and no alcohol till he is home hopefully to give me the kick start to lose all the weight, and re educate my body to eating a lot less!

    Wish me luck!

Good Luck. I keep avoiding getting started. I will try to join you in the next day or so. I have a similar amount to lose too.

  • Hi shop to drop!, it would be great to have a buddy to compare notes with and help spur each other along! Today wasn't too bad the shakes and soup were ok, and for me the main thing was taking food out of the equation during the day, did start fantasising about dinner at about 4 pm but in a way it help because I had worked out exactly what I was going to have before I started cooking.I didn't do my usuall thing of "oh that would be really good with ....)"
  • Hi everybody!
I've just finished my 1st CS day too! Went ok, bit headachy this morning but more water soon put that right :)
Never tried this diet before so will be checking in on here for motivation and tips. So keep them coming!!!

Well done you two. Looks like you have both started on the same day. I hope to join you soon.

I've lost 1st 5lbs on CS since the end of January, slow going compared to a lot of people who loose like over a stone in a month but I'm happy with it.

I've got another 12lbs to go, but I'm struggling to get motivated! Starting afresh from today. Good luck everybody :)

  • Day 3 going ok, I'm wouldn't say I was hungry but I could defiantly eat if I was allowed! Not getting the headaches but feeling physically tired couldn't face cycling today - hope that changes. Its nice to hear from someone who has been on the plan a while although I don't think I could stick with it if the weight loss isn't fairly quick! I am going try keep it up for the 7 weeks

You're doing good, the first few days are the hardest! I haven't really stuck to it the whole time, I've had random weeks off here and there and frequently have cheating moments (at least a few a week), so I'm not doing it hardcore. I've 'only' got 12lbs left to go now, so I'm struggling, being so close seems to make it much harder! I know it seems like such a gimicky diet, but I really think it's taught me a lot about food, the snacks are invaluable and I'm really seeing the benefit of eating little but often.

I've been reading a lot of your posts for last few days and after reaching a really low point I've ordered the starter pack online today. I knew if I waited until I could get to pharmacy in a few days I would find an excuse not to do it.

I've done slimming world and lost 1st 4lb but put it all back on again and the foods get so monotonous. I've also done slim fast and lost a grand total of 1lb so never again.

I've got about 2st max to lose so fingers crossed. I'm hoping the CS arrives on Monday
