Hi! I have started CS on Monday. So far, 4 days into the program I've lost 7lb. I feel fine... mostly. I had a slight headache for a while, but then I realized that I haven't been drinking enough water - kept forgetting about it. But now I remember about it and feel much better. I have one shake for breakfast, and then I take one to work and keep it in the fridge for lunch. Easy ;o) Usually I have fruits as a snack, but twice I had 1 frankfurter with slice of cheese. As my balanced meal I always have weight watchers ready meal with veg or salad. It's cheap and portion controlled so I don't have to worry if I eat too much.
On overall I think that this diet is easy to stick to. I only felt hungry on my first day, but I kept myself busy and survived till dinnerToday, after my lunch shake I felt full. I don't have any craving and don't even think about sweets. So I would definitely recommend this diet to anyone who wants to lose weight.

Hello people, looking to loose about 4/5 pounds i think , my clothes are getting too small and cant afford new ones... my clothes are in good condition and like ( most) of them, just need to fit into them better, any one any ideas.... I know I should read back but ts 73 pages now....
sorry know this might seem trival to some folks but making me feel really down, some of my clothes i cant wear now and dont have budget for new ones just need to lose a wee half stone ish i think..... any tips??

Hi all, just a quick update as have to dash. Jumped on the scale today and loast another pound! :j Grand total is now up to 9pounds! I know it's super slow as I've been doing this since the end of July/ealy Aug, but I dont feel I'm missing out on anything and it fits in really well with my life. I HAVE gained a few pounds back, but they quickly come off again when I stick to it properly. Although I started this to lose weight, there have been some great side effects, my severe IBS is almost gone now, I'm sleeping loads better, have more energy and really not tempted by 'naughty food'. The only time I gain, is if I'm working on a deadline and forget to have both shakes, enough water or my snacks properly then get super hungry and swayed by whatever is close by. I'll be sticking to this for a good long while as I really find it's working for me.
Good luck all and welcome all newbies.
I know it's a chore, but I found when I first started that reading all the pages kept me motivated and found loads of tips and ideas. Plus reading will keep you busy if you are hungry and have time to fill til your next snack

Not been doing so well the last day or two... Only had 1.5 ltrs water yesterday and the same so far today...:mad:

I am starting to think that my body just doesn't like carbs.
Is that even possible?
Just because when I am not on the diet I am tired regardless of how long I sleep and generally feel sluggish. Even if I am eating healthily so I only seem to get that "bounce" back when I am on CS. Unless it has some sort of magic ingredient in it!

Quick update - having been ill from last Sunday to Wednesday, I have not stuck to CS religiously - the last 2 days in fact I have had cake! I am not wweighing myself as I don't want to get depressed, but I am 100% motivated to start again tomorrow!
I have a big night out on 13th November - 3 weeks away - and I am aiming for 7lbs off.

im back in as of tomorrow I think - Ive got Jury duty starting then too, so hopefully it will make it easy to stick with - my plan is to not do it completely for the first couple of weeks - just CS breakfast, and low carb the rest of the time - and pending on how that goes either go back properly or stick with the other when the 2 weeks is done.
Im not certain I dont have IBS pink*kitchen*lady,I certainally seem to have 80% of the symptoms,just havent been to the doctors to get it confirmed - but I seem to remember being pretty good when I was on it before -so with a bit of luck it will help me sort that out a bit too.... thankyou for saying that, it reminded me !!!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0
