Hi everyone
I have started Celeb Slim again today (tried once before but didn't stick very well).
My plan is to do 5 weeks of CS (as strict as poss), coupled with the C25K plan and Jillian Michaels 30 day shred DVD, as well as the odd gym session if i can squeeze it in:eek:
I know it sounds crazy, but I am very "all or nothing"!!!
Day 1 - Celeb Slim stuck to, 1st C25K run and workout DVD (exhausted already:rotfl:) - BUT I WILL STICK TO IT xxxxxx0 -
Hi all,
Hope all of you are getting on well.
Mummyto3boys, sorry to hear about your problems, wish you a speedy recovery.
Vixi, I too have a 5 week plan (it's 4 weeks now) because I aiming to lose weight before my trip to Dubai, however, I noticed that mine is nowhere near as hardcore as yours. I would pace myself though if I were you, many times in the past I have commited myself to a strenous workout plan and strict diet only for me to fail within days. Remember (and I should too) it's not the end of the world if we don't lose our goal weight in our allotted time frame- though it would be really nice!:)
So I guess I am back to give an update on how things are going for me.
I have tried to make it into a habit to exercise in the morning before everyone wakes up. So I wake at around 8am (we're not early risers in our household) and try and get my butt down to the living room to work out on the wii for at least 30 mins. I usually have a bottle of water with me and then after the workout I have my CS Shake (banana is NOT nice and am dreading cafe latte now).
Must admit I didn't exercise today as I was too tired and just slept in for a while and my entire days food intake has been much like in my previous posts with the exception of dinner- that was fillet steak with loads of green beans yum!
These past few days I have felt good about seeing my weight go down consistently on the wii fit scale but today (I just went on the wii to weigh myself) there was a 2lb increase! WTH? Needless to say I was a little bit disheartened but never fear I shall persevere with my diet till I reach my goal.
Anyway, these are the ramblings of a rice and bread deprived girl, hope it all made sense and that you all are having better luck with things at the moment than I am.
Hopefully, next time I can have more postive news in the weight loss department- got another 8lbs to lose before my trip and another stone and a half over all to go, so no time to get lax!0 -
Rolo see my last post! I was So frustrated 3lb back on again
None of us are superhuman and can only do what we can do....Despite the 'gain' (totm) I am wearing a pair of Per Una jeans which are really comfy whereas 3 weeks ago would not have been as much, so I know I am decreasing.
The only shake I'm not overkeen on is the Chocolate, however the Choc Mint and Choc Orange are lovely... Rowlands do a variety pack £33 for 10 days worth 2 of each flavour, yummy!
Am having Caramel shake for lunch, have had a pepper and cucumber with houmus as a snack...
Have a good week all xMFW 2011 No. 161 £946.54/£2000 TargetApril 9/15March 14/15

(is that allowed????)), and just finished JM workout (didn't make gym as had a late meeting, and wanted to get home to H2B awwwww!!!!).
Keep me updated Rolo86, would love to hear how you do. I am sure you''ll manage 8lbs. I'd like to lose around 1.5stones.

Hiya guys,
So very quick update and replies to DansMum and Vixi.
Yesterday was kind of a bad day for me, I did not plan around it at all and as a result my entire days meals got messed up.
I went to volunteer at the local charity shop (I know-I'm a saint-:p) and before I left I had my breakfast shake and took a CS Bar with me but didn't have a chance to eat it or have any water cos I was so busy and then I got home and again didn't have a chance to scoff cos guests had arrived. So the next time I ate was at 7:30pm and started drinking water like a maniac to compensate but obviously it doesn't work like that, also had no time to exercise either. So a wasted day in my books but today is going better.
DansMum- you are right about not being superhuman and learning to not get discouraged by a few hiccups along the weight loss road, I suppose it is par for the course but being as I am a lowly mortal:rotfl:I can't sometimes help but want to smash my scales when I see my weight creeping up! But then I stop myself and envisage myself thinner in 1 months time (I hope) and that (along with all of you) motivates me to carry on.
You are also very very right about the chocolate shake. There is something not quite right about that one and it leaves a horrible aftertaste. I think the one I like best at the moment is strawberry but I might try and give chocolate orange and choc mint a try too though I don't have a Rowlands near me.
Vixi- I was in pain too when I started to exercise regularly again but thankfully it goes away after a couple of days, just make sure you stretch before doing anything too strenuous!
I think you can get away with a boiled egg as long as you don't have it 7 days a week and limit it to "sometimes" but I am not the expert here so feel free to ignore me:D
Yeah, have got to lose 1.5 stones overall, if it was humanly possible to lose the weight healthily within 4 weeks I'd do it but as the old saying goes "slow and steady wins the race"- who am I to argue with that logic?
Anyway, am off to tesco to do MY healthy shop for the week (I have food separate to everyone elses now).
Happy slimming my celebrity slimmer pals0 -
Hey Rolo, another day! You cant change whats happen only whats going to happen! Good for you though for giving up your time!
I dont have a Rowlands either, so have been buying online. Delivery over £25 is free and they do all the shakes, bars, and soups. Beware that delivery takes approx 4 days though so if you go that route dont leave yourself short!
Yesterday was a struggle for me... I had a day off and just could have scoffed anything and everything all day... I think it being cold didnt help. But I stuck my my guns, Strawberry shake brekkie, apple, cookies and cream shake, cs bar and 2 egg omelette with cauli, broc, green beans, mushrooms and onions, alpro soya yoghurt.
Weighed this morning, still 10st 10lb. Fingers crossed for a bit more this week...MFW 2011 No. 161 £946.54/£2000 TargetApril 9/15March 14/15

Hey all,
Quick update. I have run out of CS shakes so even though I ordered a new pack last week it still hasn't arrived and so that left me having to make a "nutritious and healthy" breakfast- what to do? So finally decided on eggs x2 scrambled and that was it for breakfast.
Snack was an apple and yes DansMum, I too find that apples make me hungry.
Lunch was little chunks of left over chicken breast with mushrooms with a little lemon juice.
Dinner was chicken curry (less oil) with lettuce, tomato and cucumber.
And drank 2+ litres of water today.
Really tried to fit in exercise today and feeling guilty that I never got a chance to go jogging (via wii) but am hoping that I can do some jogging even for 15 mins in about an hour as I just ate so I don't want to feel sick.
Am a bit !!!!ed that I haven't lost any weight since my initial weight loss and am wondering where I am going wrong! Could the fact that it is near that special time of the month, have anything to do with it?0
