  • Well well well, started CS this morning. Had a vanilla shake and it was delicious! Have managed to drink seven glasses of water already and am very pleased with myself! Had some celery and a dab of peanut butter for my morning snack.

I think I am extra motivated cos when I got weighed this morning, I had apparently gained three pounds since yesterday! Not sure if this is even possible but it was the shock I needed anyway!

Hope you are all doing well x
  • Hello Everyone
Have been away sorry for not updating more. I've been on SS half-heartledly for about 2weeks and even managed a holiday and still lost 6lbs!!:j

Hubs was really worried about me doing this as I did CD and was misrable! On SS I can still be 'normal' and lose the flab so win-win :D
I'm finding it pretty easy, but as I mentioned I haven't been doing it 100% correct, but seems to be working for me. To be honest I've gone from carb addict to forcing a bit of bread down here and there. Even sugar is a bit sweet for me now.

How is everyone else getting on? Goodluck missvixy. welcome
    :)

  • i started CS 6-7 weeks ago, i only managed one week and had many slips up, i am not overweight (was just bordering) but didnt feel comfortable the size i was. Being on CS really changed my outlook of eating and even though i didnt stick to it well i was more than suprised to weigh myself last week and found i had lost 7lbs ... thats half a stone!! i lost 3lbs on the CS diet in my first week, ive went from a size 14 to a size 12, going to start CS again tomorrow it has really motivated me, i want to be a nice size 12 so will be happy with another 7lbs weight loss. Thanx for all the motivating posts they truly are an inspiration!!

hi all. i am now 3lbs away from losing a stone!!! :j only been doing it a month. hopefully i will get my certificate friday weigh it  Want to loose about 2 stone in total.

Im a fan of all shakes apart from the cafe latte ones. Not keen on the apple crumble snack bars but the choc caramel and mint ones are amazing.

As a snack i have been having those snack bars or sugar free jelly.

Make sure you drink at least 2 litres of water thou otherwise you get headaches plus it keeps you full.

    Good luck everyone else x

just wondering as thinking about it, could you use the slim fast shakes aswell as the celebrity slim ones? sometimes they are on offer. just a thought......
  • I'm not sure they would work as well lilvixen. I think they have more sugar in them or something. I find I get really full on the CS shakes, but not so much with the Slim-Fast ones. Also, do be careful of the Tesco ones as they were on Watchdog a few months ago, cause they labled up the calories wrong on the pack.

I keep buying mine at the superdrug in town or online. They seem to be the cheapest at £1.99 each, Rowlands is £2 each sachet and I get a free shaker with every 3 shakes/soups I buy. I got 2 today, have a load of the things LOL :rotfl:

So this week hasn't been very good for me as I've not lost anything. TOM is not COOL, but at least I can get back to normal soon.

Where is everyone else? I wonder how they are getting on? Just need 1 more pound to make 1/2 a stone, next weigh-in monday.

  • Hi Everybody
I just started this diet this week and stumbled on this forum which looks great!
I want to loose 35kg which is quite daunting, but recently went on holiday and realised that I was carrying around more weight than my suitcase which was quite a shock as I certainly wouldn't want to lug that around every day!
I have enjoyed reading the forum and support that people are providing.

I keep picking up bags of potatoes and thinking oh my god i was carrying around that everyday haha.

Getting weight again on friday so hopefully i can shift the 2lb fingers crossed
    .

Think im gonna stick to the cs shakes but have been having the slim fast snack bars as a snack when get a chocolate craving lol.:EasterBun
  • Welcome to the thread Asty :) Well done lilvixen :T

I had my weigh in the am and have stayed the same :( I guess I can't complain too much as was TOTM, but still a but gutted as it's always nice to see the scale go down. This week shall be better and I'm determined to get to 1/2 a stone this WILL happen!!

O-M-G, I had one of the Chocolate Bars today and EWWWWWWWWWWWW!! Then when you think it can't get much worse, my highly anticipated Chocolate Orange Shake was EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWwww tooo !!!_pale__pale_ I really felt sick!
Guess I'll stick to the shakes. The yogurty bars or OK, but only just able to choke them down if in dire straights.

So far I'm pretty happy with the other shakes, except Banana. I think I might have to buy the starter pack again as I like the variety, but found they dont tend to sell Vanilla,Carmel, Beef or Chicken soups.

    Hi guys,

I've been on this diet now for 6 months and lost just over 3 stone....almost at my goal weight of 9 stone which i am thrilled about. Absolutely love this diet, found that it has slid in to my hectic schedule very well and I just love the taste of it.
Pink Kitchen Lady, have you tried the choc caramel bars, they were my favourite. I love the banana shake shaken with some ice cubes as this makes it all frothy!!! But everyone is different I guess. At least you like the others.
i found that when i went for my weigh ins during my TOTM my weight loss for that week wasnt anything to shout home about, but it just made next week even better :)

Going to be moving on to the maintenance stage soon, has anyone else had any experience with this and can offer me any advice? x
