I was getting a bit fed up with the teas but the tips and meal ideas above are fantastic and have spurred me on to continue.
Congratulations to you on your weight loss and keep posting those tips and meal ideas to help us all carry on !!
Keep going everyone we can do this !!!!!!0 -

Hi Everyone, today is my first day doing CS and I'm already dubious! I don't really like veg apart from in soups or curries I don't know if this plan is going to work for me. The reason I started was because it's much easier for me to do the soup/shake element at work but when I went to have tea tonight I was a bit stumped! Has anyone got any ideas of how I can try just having tiny amounts of veg? I was wondering if eggs are ok??0

Hi Miss Behavin--- welcome
I had an omlette today mad with eggwhites and veg --- stir fry pack and let it cook down a bit more than usual and it was scrummy!
I really like veg so not sure what to suggest. Perhaps you haven't found one you like? I know I really like cooked celery but not raw.
Maybe load up on fish or meat?
Good luck!0 -
Well day 3 its still a bit of a struggle! I find myself being fine with my 2 shakes and 2 fruit snacks i tend to be just sticking to lots of meat at tea time. I think i'm going to have a vegetable soup to get some goodness inside of me! I will say one thing though as icky as it sounds, I used to have problems going to the loo before this and I've been every day so far I don't know if the shakes are helping!0

Hello all
Well I have finally managed to read through every post on here and it has spurred me on to try this diet. Having dieted for the last 18 years or so and never finding one that either worked well or i was able to stick to, i am excited at the prospect of a diet that seems clear cut and actually works!
I have my starter pack ready to go for tomorrow morning and a tesco delivery of chicken, tuna, fruit and veg booked in for tomorrow. Am going to clear out my cupboards tonight of any nasty carbs and make sure my fridge freezer has allowable foods only!
I have just weighed myself and am coming in at 19 9 3/4. Is slightly less than I thought! But still 9 stone heavier than what I should be for my height which is 5"5.
My target weight is to lose 9 stone. I am currently a size 22 and my short term goal is to be size 18 by my birthday in two months, don't know if this is over ambitious though!
I am only 26 and feel this is the time to get healthy as am starting to get health issues due to my weight which I imagine could only get worse as I get older. I have extra motivation as yesterday my nephew referred to me as "Auntie Fatty"! Which is not good. So, here goes!
Hope your diets are going well and I will be checking back to see how people are doing and to update my weigh in etc!0 -
Morning all!
I'm just starting today! Just had my first shake and I have to say it was disgusting, it was the chocolate one with a fibre sachet had to hold my nose to drink it and keep sipping water so I didn't gag! Anyone suggest a favourite cos if they all taste like that I'm not sure how long I'll last! But anyway apart from that really looking forward to the diet don't really have a goal weight will just see how it goes! If anyone has any tips or anything let me know! Thanks! Xxx0 -
Im not a huge fan of the chocolate ones (thogh I dont hate them as much as you do!!) - I swapped a load of mine with a girl from here, she didnt like the caramel and strawberry as much - and those two are my more favourite ones, so it worked out quite well !!!
The vanilla ones are SCRUM with hot water by the way - made me really hope for cold weather when I was doing it properly before !!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

thanks trudij!!! would never have thought of trying them with hot water!!! am gunna give the banana one a go! am feeling so hungry, is that normal? its weird i would have probably not have eaten by this time on a sunday but ive already had a shake and an apple and im so hungry and all i can think about is food and a glass of wine! how rigid is the rule of only one to two glasses? help!!!0 -
lol - if you've trawled through all 65 pages, you will have seen how much i stretched the low carb bit nearer the end of my time....
I didnt really drink much during it (other than water and squash!) but i did sneak the odd sandwich in and the odd chocolate.... all that happened was that i lost weight slower than Id have expected to if I hadnt. Not saying that would be the same for everyone, but thats what happened for me.
If you are still hungry, it could be that you arent drinking enough water, but you can also make your snack bigger - if you have a look on the website there are lots of ideas for other things to have as snacks.
one small tip - the atkins bars were lower carb ( if i remember right!) than the CS ones, a lot cheaper, and a LOT tastier....
I need to get back on this - but i have no money and im not in the right place at the moment.Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0
