Hi everyone
Hope you don't mind a newbie joining you on your journey??
I'm Nina, am 34 and have decided to give cs a go! I have recently had a baby girl (7 weeks old) have 3 boys also and think now is the time to shift this blooming baby weight.
Have tried every diet known to man in the past and have had really good results on Slimming World but for some really strange reason this time round after having my little girl i just cannot shift the weight and its really getting me down - slimming world just isnt working and im gutted
So after reading upto page 22 of these posts so far today i have got off my butt and gone to Superdrug and picked up a 7 day starter box and am going to start tomorrow.
I weighed myself in Boots also and was 13 stone :(:(:( when i fell pregnant with my little girl i was 10 stone 10lbs but before that i was between 9 stone 8lbs and 10 stone - which i would be thrilled to be anywhere between those weights, i have had 3 babies 3 c-sections in the last 3 years tho so thats a stone for each baby lol!
Have now got to the point where enough is enough tho, i feel huge, im still in maternity clothes all my big clothes size 14 are tight all my sizes 10's are collecting dust and its really upsetting as all i want to be is thin!
So im gonna start this diet tomorrow and combine it with the couch to 5k running programme - i bought a really decent treadmill at the end of my pregnancy for use at home as my gym membership ran out and with now having 3 kids under 3 i have no chance of getting back in the gym so thought i could do the running when they have their naps or when they are in bed for the night.
I really hope this works for me and i can shift this 3 stone of fat!
Good luck everyone else, I shall update tomorrow evening with how my first day has gone...... Oh and is it just me that proper binges the day before day one of the diet and eats anything and everything - why do i do that??? Its so bloody annoying, im not even hungry and i just wanna stuff my face as i know the diet starts tomorrow :mad::mad:

Hi Nina (mummyto3boys)
Welcome to the thread. I was like you with the binge eating the day before i started.
It will be hard for the first couple of days as your body will be craving all the bad stuff but it does get better i promise you.
When you go and get weigh again and they tell you you've lost even 1lb your on a natual high for the rest of the day.
If you do fall off it one day thats fine as it says in the book.
Good luck hun x:)0 -
I've just ordered some of those Celebrity Slim Weight Management Capsules
Im intrested to see if they actually do anything. Will keep you all updated x

Hi Everyone
I'm back on the wagon after a 3month rest.
Happy that I've been able to maintain (give or take a couple of lb's)
Today I'm 140lb with a BMI just under the 25. Would like to loose another half stone to a stone so that I'm further away from the boarderline of overweight.

Morning everyone
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Yesterday went well, managed to drink all my water, was hard but made sure i did it!
Had a Vanilla shake for brekkie and the chicken soup for lunch and both were lush so ordered a box of both
For my snacks i had 30g of cheese in the morning, after lunch i had 30g Almonds and for my evening snack i had another 30g of Almonds - does this sound ok? As reading through some of the old threads (am now upto page 52 lol) people are having the cheese allowance of 30g but having peppers and a bit of salad with it? Can you do that??
Can you give me some tips on what you are all having for snacks, i know you can have half the cs/atkins bars but i dont think i could open a bar and only eat half!
Did feel a little bit hungry yesterday, had pork stir fry for my tea which was yummy but did miss the noodles. Also when we cook are we to use oil or is it better to use fry light?
Soooo many questions sorry!!
Havent had me brekkie shake this morning yet, gonna hold off til at least 9.30am if i can, dont sound late does it but been up since 5.30am with the kids! lol
