    Hi All,

Day two for me and have had a strawberry shake for breakfast, with some peppers for my 11am snack, then the Caramel shake for lunch followed by some ham for lid afternoon snack.

It's only been one day and don't feel so bloated, not sure if it's the diet or the amount of water i'm drinking!

Resisting the scales at the moment, waiting for my weigh in next monday.

  • Second weigh in tomorrow and I am not feeling optimistic. I stupidly weighed myself twice mid week and I had lost loads the first time but had put some up the second time.....The best strategy is probably not to have a scales at home and to weigh in elsewhere...
  • thats so odd its my daughters birthday today also she's only 1 but il be having a slice of cake later only 1 day a year. feeling fine still finding the drinking of the water a bit tough to get into me keep forgettting bout it.hope everyone is well

    Hi All
Just to update where I'm at.
I went for my second weigh in on Saturday and had lost two more pounds which is 7 in total in two weeks so I'm happy :j.
Afraid I slipped with the wine again on Saturday night but just limited it to two large crisp sauvignon blancs and kept away from the baileys bottle. I'm keeping of the scales as well as I am rather a slave to them, they've gone in the garage so I don't know if the wine has done any harm.
I wore a pair of jeans at the weekend that I couldn't fasten just three weeks ago when I wanted to wear them so it's all good.
I had threatened to switch to something else midway last week as I was finding being back at work that I was hungry mid afternoon but hubby persuaded me to stick with it for another week.
Welcome to the new starters and congrats to everyone who has reported good losses.

another 2lb woohoo!!! thats half a stone in 2 weeks im well chuffed!!!
  • It's day 2 for me. I was in bed at 9pm last night due to a horrible headache. Think it's probably the cold turkey on caffeine. Did miss my lattes yesterday.

Went to the gym and ran for about 20 minutes and lifted weights so took my mind off the coffee for about an hour!

Someone told me the headaches stop after 2/3 days - that'll make life easier.

    Hi Fabfour,

I am a caffeine addict, and for the 1st day I could have cried due to the headache i had. 2nd day was slightly better, and today is my 3rd day and so far no headache!

Finally taken the plunge and ordered my CS Starter pack.

Feeling positive at taking my first step and looking forward to it arriving.

I so hope its going to work ... I'm a maintainer .. doesn't matter what I do the weight doesn't shift.

In the past been disheartened with doing lots of exercise and not seeing any results .. so it must all be in the food !!

I also have PCOS and know that plays a factor in loosing weight.

    Bye for now

  • Hi
Second weigh in this morning and I lost 3.25lbs - so that's 9.25 in two weeks with 6.75lbs to go.

I should be pleased but I stupidly weighed myself mid week and I had lost 5lbs, so now my skewed logic tells me that I have gained weight. Staying away from the scales this week!!

Good luck to all the new starters!

    Hi spaine

I have PCOS too and a specialist told me years ago that a low carb diet is the way to go - this is certainly working for me so hopefully you will see a big improvement!
