Bought a starter pack of cs today as i ned a kick up the rear for my wedding in june - don't want to loose loads cos my dress won't fit , although if the weight falls off i my go buy another dress 2nd hand as mine only cost £140 anyway.

Just want my trousers and bra to be less snug - i refuse to go up another size :(

    Hi All
Thought I would give you an update on how I am doing.
As I posted I had lost 5lb last Saturday alas on Sunday to celebrate the end of my first week I decided to treat myself to two glasses of wine which then unfortunately lead to a large glass of baileys with ice. So much for giving up the booze for Lent!!
Hence I had to jump on the scales the next day to see the damage and I had gone up a pound.
I have since stuck to it to the letter as I could have kicked myself breaking it so soon but unfortunately I haven't lost anymore so far (day 10) as I am now checking on a daily basis.
I'm hoping that I will see some more come off by the end of the week and then I will assess whether to continue with this or change to something else.
Well done Ladyshellda, Tammyuk55 & sunflower75 on your brilliant losses after your first week and welcome to svjenni.

Wey Hey:j:j:j Well Done to both of you:j:j:j

Its day nine for me now, seems to be going ok, still loosing on the waist anyway which is pleasing. I have a shake in the morning and a soup for dinner and this seems to work out better for me.
This week has flown by and the dreaded 2nd weigh in is getting closer, who would have thought that I'd be terrified of a set of scales:rotfl:

Welcome svjennie, you will find lots of inspiration here:D

Don't worry tece, you may be suprised when you have your next weighin and find that you lost more ( it has been known to happen:)) try and stay away from the scales at the mo though as that will make you feel worse:D I wont get on the scales untill I go to the chemist now on Monday but am keeping the measurements up.
If your neighbour's grass is greener, its time to water your lawn!:rotfl::rotfl:

  • Hi
I'm on Day nine and I feel less hungry and have to remind myself to eat snacks...is anyone else getting into the groove?!
  • Hi glad to every hear people being possitive and seem to be doing well.
I went to stay with a freind for 3 days and took shakes ..nuts and fruit and she knew that I was doing C S and cooked for me with that in mind so that was great and easy all round.
Heading for end of week 3 on monday... been easy so far .
went to cinema last night took a small bottle of water and a packet of Macadema nuts.
It was Case 39 by the way ,,great one fro making you jump ...more than once.
Have a good weekend every body
  • Since having my youngest son, almost 5 years ago, I've put on 2 stone. I was in two minds as to whether to try CS, worried it was just a fad, but, after reading this thread I'm going to buy the starter pack tomorrow.
I've tried the healthy eating and using the gym but I quickly fall off the wagon.
I'll weigh my self and measure all around tonight in readiness for a Monday start.
    Thanks everyone
