Day 4 and I bought some strawberry flavoured shakes this morning because I was getting bored with the mint-choc ones...I'm not crazy about strawberry, but I can't get a box of the assorted shakes in my local pharmacy so I'll just have to make do!
Has anyone tried the cookies and cream variety? I saw them this morning, but was worried they might be horrible....
Also, I am really annoyed that I didn't measure myself - I can definitely see my waist is shrinking already.

the cookies and cream is ok - not too dissimilar to the vanilla tbh. I was a bit disappointed with the 3 new flavours, definately ok as a change,but I wouldnt get excited enough for a whole box of them....Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0

I was disappointed with the chocolate orange flavour, just didn't taste 'right'. I'm trying the mint chocolate flavour tomorrow. At the moment I'm having a strawberry shake every day, with either mint or orange chocolate as the second shake.0

Hi all to report that I got weighed on my own scales this morning and I have lost 5lb in as many days and I know most of this is fluid but it's a good incentive to set me off. I'm glad I weighed at home as I was last minute in Rowlands so no time to get weighed there but will do so next weekend.
It was all quick and grab in Rowlands and I bought individual sachets as from memory when buying the starter pack the boxes are one flavour, they were £2 per sachet.
You might recall in my earlier posts that I was worried about exercising. I am glad to say that I have done 1 aerobics and 2 body combats sessions this week and have been fine with them. The worry about exercising comes from many moons ago doing Atkin and feeling quite light headed in a step class.
Hope everyone is doing ok and not letting the weekend get in the way. x0 -
Hi all
today is day 5!!
was naughty last nighthelped my brother move into his new and 1st house and start the decorating etc.
he had no food in the house so he got kebabs i tried to stick to as healthy as poss and just had chicken kebab - only ate the chicken and salad left the pitta and didnt have any sauce on it!(i hadnt planned on being at his so long!)
today is a new day and sticking to it today
added ice cubes to my shake this morning and it made it nice and frothy ....yummy!!

Well Day Six Is here, The dreaded wiegh in is tomorrow:eek:
I am dreading it, took a sneaky peek a my own scales and nothing wieght is still the same,I cant understand it have stuck to it and I am loosing the inches but the weight just isnt shifting:(
I am hoping the scales at home are wrong and a nice suprise awaits me at rowlands tomorrow but I am not holding out to much hope, on a real downer at the mo and things were looking up a few days ago wish I hadnt looked at the damn things now:mad: at least i would have had one more day of feeling that all my effort is doing something!!

takes some doing when you are really hungry .....
I made sunday lunch today roast chicken green beans and mashed up cauliflower to fool me i was having mash..
Family had roasts and yorkshire pudding...
Amazing I didnt even want any!
Morrisons had reduced strawberries so they are for snack time....:j0 -
ooh - I cant do the mashed cauli - its just wrong to my taste-buds.... lol

coming to the end of my 1st week on CS and have to say im really enjoying it
Anyway i dont want people at work knowing im on it just yet as it will just get dismissed as another' fad diet'
so i was thinking of instead of taking a shake for lunch (i dont like soup) i would do the following:
shake for breakfast
snack - fruit
combined allowable snack - small salad with ham or egg for lunch
shake when i finish work at 3pm
dinner about 7pm
snack
would this be ok to do it in this order??0 -
Dont see why that wouldnt be ok - alll you are doing is swapping your afternoon snack and your lunchtime shake - its not quite as good as doing it all in the "correct" order, but I really cant see that it would be too much of a problem - at least you could give it a go, and see how the weight goes, you can always change back later !!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0
