You certainly seem to be doing well!
I am getting back on to CS after slipping off for a while. I hurt my leg and couldn't exercise which got me down and so to make thing worse I ate more! Not the best idea but I really missed the exercising and I haven't been sleeping as well. Perhaps I am a convert to exercise!!:j
I had lost 6 pounds when I finally dared to weigh myself so in 5 weeks that is pretty low. My total is 29 pounds so far and I want to lose probably 30 - 35 pounds more.
I am not sure how to set my target weight as I am 5'2 and have quite a small frame. I was thinking of going to 8 stone 7 pounds but I don't know! I keep getting everyone saying that it is too low but on the BMI charts it looks ok.
How have you decided what weight to aim for?
I want to be at my target for 2nd June as I don't want to have another fat birthday EVER!

Angel_Jenny: Hope you are on the road to recovery now, I'm 5'2" aswell I am aiming for 55kg am currently 86kg so got a way to go:o 55kg is approx 8st 9lb which is what I was a very long time ago and I am a medium build so what you are aiming for is the same as me, do you have much more to go to get there, you say that you have lost some already??If your neighbour's grass is greener, its time to water your lawn!:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Hi Angel jenny and Tammy uk, tece, the more the merrier I sure we can all learn from each other..
You can easily google your ideal weight etc for your frame size you can google that too its based on wrist measurements I am a 7inch wrist which makes me a large frame.....
Angel jenny you have already lost 2 stones well done you should be very pleased...
Tece you asked about enegy I felt quite light headed on the thursday and friday ..which usually mean im losing weight too quick ..so I increased my carbs on the friday I had some chip shop fish and about 6 chips and that seemed to level me out....
The good thing about C S is that it stops you thinking about what meal you are going to eat and will it be ok .....etc so takes the pressure off that way ...
There are some great low carb sites with alsorts of fab recipes and inventive things and facts.... Ive been glue to me computer looking at various posts....
Exercise wise the Wii fit is great fun and very interactive and keep a a check of your weight....

I have lost 29 pounds to take me to 10 stone 13 pounds so I have at least the same again to lose. If I get to my target I can always lose a bit more until I am happy. As long as I stay within the healthy limits.

My wrist is just under 6 inches. I am pleased but if I had been more committed I would have lost it faster!
On the plus side I have never lost this much weight before!

Right today i start my CS although a lil confused with snacks - worried i will get bored
Can someone tell me when it says veg sticks how many and how much hummus etc?
and am i right in thinking i can have a small salad as a snack but what is small?? - my small might be someone elses big if you get what i mean

ok so i fell yesterday and it hurt i ate everything in the house apart from the kids. but today is a new day so i just picked myself up off the ground and get back on the cs wagon.0

Arnica is a great thing to have around the house for any bangs and knocks..
dont dwell on the past... today is another day ..

I had a celery stick with appox. a desert spoon of humus along it ..
You have to chew celery quite a lot that may send signals to your brain to say you are full...
I found having meal replacements takes away the thought of food ....were as on a diet you just think about food all the time... I look forward to my eveing meal and snacks..such as apple or sastuma.. brazil nuts. suagr free jelly is an option too the lime ones are lovely ....
Jump in and see if this way of losing wight is for you ...you never know.
But also need to think about how you got to be over weight and try and see what foods are a problem..
so that when you have lost all the weight you can eat and not go back to square one which I am guessing most of us have done on here..
I have got to this size through 40 yrs of dieting ......the lightbulb as finally popped on.. a carb lead way of eatting has lead me to be this size ..I aways said I was n't a big eater and could undersatnd why I was so big.... was the "evil" carbs not buring them off.

Hey, do ye mind if I join in? I've been reading the thread and I'd love to get involved. I haven't started my CS yet, I'm getting the starter pack at the weekend and give it a go. I done Lipotrim 4 years ago and lost 4st 7lbs, but over time almost all of it has crept back on. I know I wouldn't be able to stick to it again so CS looks like a better option. I have 75lbs to lose
:(, I have a wedding in August which is my motivation
