OMG!!! Well Done to All you losers.... It has taken me a while to get through all of your posts but I am so glad I did, found myself getting a a tad emotional with some of you:)

I put on all my excess bagage when I was pregnant with my DS 16years ago:eek: Thought I would lose the weight when I gave birth:(
Tried sf, atkins, cabbage soup,, lost a bit with them but got dishearted very quickly and put double back on!!!

This one however sounds as if you see results straight away and might be just right as I have a rowlands about 5mins walk away from my house:)
Got to get serious about this because my weight is putting to much pressure on my joints (arthritis) I am 5ft 2" tall and when I was last weighed I was 83kg not sure what that is in stone but it sounds huge:o
So if it is ok with all you good people I would like to join this little group for encouragement and motivation if anything else.

Gonna get my starter pack today if I can:D

She also did my weight:eek: am heavier than I thought 86.2kg that snuck up on me:rotfl:

So heres to tomorrow when I start on the new me:T

Hi all mind if I join you?
I started C S yesterday after threatening to do so since just after Xmas, finally bit the bullet and called into Rowlands to buy my starter pack.
It seemed an opportune time this week what with Lent starting tomorrow as I'm going to give up the wine which is my downfall.
I have tried the banana, caramel and chocolate shake so far and I have got to say they are very scrummy.
I've got 2 stone to lose but to be honest would be really happy with a stone and anything over that would be a bonus.
Hubby has a big birthday number in mid March so we are going away for a long weekend and I would really love to be well on my way to the stone by then. Oh it's just come to me that I'm going to need special dispensation to have a few vinos on the trip as Lent will not have finished!
Can anyone advise whether you exercise on this diet as I do go to a couple of aerobic classes a week and I'm worrying how I'll feel without the carbs for the energy?
  • hi everyone,
after reading all you comments on this thread this morning ive gone out and bought my starter pack
ive done slimming world rosemary connely etc in the past and usually loose interest as get bored of measuring/weighing food counting points etc, im hoping i will stick with this as it appears to be so much simpler

gonna start it tomorrow so fingers crossed hey!!:j
