Still think what you'll do in 2010 Shoe Gal. How do you work out the interest you'll pay over the year if you only make minimum payments?

Most of my debt is with DCA's so no interest. For the others I just total my debts once a month when I have received my statements

After yesterdays mini-meltdown :o I have done the slightly weird thing of starting a 'diet' on 16th December  Actually, it's more a promise to myself that I have hit my highest weight/lowest point  and will not let things get any worse over Christmas/New Year :D

Why not start a diet on 16/12, today is the first day of the rest of your life!

  • 16th December seems like a very sensible day to start a diet, just early enough to not be a New Year's Resolution:D

I too am planning to try not to put on any weight at all over Christmas, I do however to spend it lounging around, drinking wine and eating chocs so we shall see:rolleyes:

    Hello my lovely,

sorry have been absent but am now back & guess what ... I too am bigger than I've been apart from when I was pregant & I guess that doesnt really count :D

Like Souk08 says ... it's all about self esteem & remembering that your are F****** Fabulous whatever your size.

It's cold outside, you work hard & have been decorating your apartment. Your body burns more fuel to keep goin in winter. Bears, hedeghogs, squirrels & many other creatures all increase their body weight in winter in order to maintain heat & energy while the lack of daylight depletes motivation. Lets face it, we'd all really prefer to be curled up in bed or on the sofa with warm, comforting & nourishing food in winter. It's nature sweetie & you cant fight the Goddess without making yourself ill.

For every pound that I have managed to lose this year, I have gained another  so I end the year as I began it :o. But, I am alive, I have my home, my job, my health & with the help of everyone here will find the strength & motivation to keep going, and so will you :A
