OKish day - busy at work. Have continued eating as if it's an Olympic sport

Treated myself to a trashy novel so off to bed with that in a minute :D Nothing planned for the weekend - but loads to do

    Dont be hard on yourself,

reading is very therapeutic so it's helped rebalance your stress levels ;)

I've not done an awful lot either, 2 loads of washing, plenty of eating, some washing up & a bit of tidying. No actual cleaning though

I'm still hoping to find some boots for under £100 ... but if not then have been ordered to buy the ones I've seen by the end of the year :D

    I am posting this to shame myself, I think I may be developing a serious problem with food :o Yesterday I ate;
    • cereal
    • chicken and bacon sandwich
    • bag of crisps
    • 10 bread sticks
    • 5 biscuits
    • a pizza
    • 6 mince pies
    • 12 mini caramel shortbreads
A rough calculation puts that at 4900 calories
    I am ashamed :o:o

I now weigh 12 stone and my BMI is 28.8 (overweight, but only 6lbs from OBESE)

THIS HAS GOT TO STOP

Morning my very good friend who must stop beating herself up and being ashamed, you didn't kill anyone/lie/cheat, you just ate some food. Ok so fruit/veg could do with making a visit to your diet but hey we all need to do that (what is fruit again?)

ok. You need to find stuff to do that you like, that will totally engage you ie not just tv cos then its prime snacking time. What hobby could you do that would keep your hand occupied? Do you have photos to put in albums? Knitting? surveys? free bingo?paint your nails? pick out Cd's to sell on Music magpie? wrap presents?

You would never talk a friend they way you post about yourself, you are a fabulous support for people here, be kinder to you please?

    Love Buffy xxx

Thanks Buffy, that made me cry :A

I feel such a failure, I have been eating like this for the last few days :o I just seem to need to stuff in as mcuh food as possible. As you know I'm not usually very 'self-helpy' but even I can see that I am trying to fill a void of loneliness - but I can't seem to stop :o

So it was a bad day foodwise? Who doesn't have them? It's winter, it's cold at the moment...most people eat more in these conditions...who feels like salad when it's freezing outside?

Don't beat yourself up about it, yesterday is gone and today is a new day. What about getting some clementines/satsuma's in? They are yummy, but take time to peel and eat plus they're full of vitamin C to help you ward off those winter bugs..

I also agree with Buffy re:hobby. What about a dance class? Or horse riding? Both fun things that don't feel like exercise...
