    :rotfl:Thats decided then - its 3 against 1 :rotfl:

I did tell him last night (over the phone) how much it came to and that the fee for counting it all was 100% of the total amount, so he agreed (I didn't actually listen to his answer)

Just need to lug it all to the bank and get it taken off the mortgage, with my slummy as well I have £86 to pay in, but it weighs a tonne :rotfl:

Yipee, Yipee news even though I won't be spending it, ISA interest for 2009/10 - £1934. So thank you Martin for encouraging me to change it to a different bank. Need to find another one for this year, but it seems 3.5% is the highest around

Annoying letter from house insurance company

They seem to think that they can double then plus some my insurance premium from £150 to OVER £320  for the year without me noticing. This is without any claims being made

Just been on the internet and found new policy for £110 (slightly worried that I have entered all the details incorrectly) so signed up for that

Now looking forward to not re-newing my expensive policy on Monday - wonder if they will try and match it

Our home insurance is due on the 10th April, they've quoted us £270, found one for £170 but haven't signed up yet, where did you find your £110 quote?

Just read last post about mortgage statement as couldn't remember when it is due

20th April - seems to be the same day I bought my house - what a plank I am

Not feeling to great, spent all Easter at BF's chilling out, which was much needed for the both of us, with the intention of doing stuff around the house.

BF (bless him) has painted some more doors, dug over some garden, and cooked all weekend but when it comes to throwing/sorting things out, he gets really stressed.

I went through a kitchen cupboard and chucked all the out of date herbs/spices. If I hadn't washed out all the glass jars for recycling he wouldn't have known I done it, but it seemed to really stress him out

I asked him the other morning, if my house sells first, where would all my stuff go. He reply storage which makes sense for all the big stuff, but I meant clothes, he said the back bedroom so I checked and it is full of boxes/stuff

If I hadn't gone the tip with him the other week I would think that he brought everything back in from the car when I left

Other thing getting to me, is not doing anything in my house/life -so here goes a list for this week

Ring plumber about radiator in hall (I cant be bothered to fix this plus I don't have pipe benders and using a tin wouldn't work)

Ring carpet fitter to measure up hall/stairs/landing

Ring hairdresser to make appointment for haircut (last done in August)

Empty dining table of junk, even if not sorted through as this mess is making me avoid the kitchen/dining room like the plague

Spring clean the bathroom, it is looking quite grubby and need a good clean (tiles, floor, window, etc)

I'll report back next week with the outcome

apologies in advance for this statement but men really are rubbish at throwing things out. When I lived at home with my dad I thought that it was just him and the fact that he didn't have a woman around to keep him on the straight and narrow. However I have been living with my hubby for 9 years now and he still has wage slips from 12 years ago, vinyl everywhere even though his decks have been in the loft for the past 6 years and warhammer don't even get me started (I understand not all men are as big geeks as my husband:o). You have done well to throw out the spices, but doubt it will be as easy to clear the back bedroom.
Hope you manage to get everything done that you need to that looks like an achievable list, sorry if I have gone on a bit but I have just been to the pub and had 2 double vodka's with lime and lemonade, how very reckless of me!;)

    Thanks Emmie

Think I'm a bit hormonal, ended up arguing with BF in the afternnoon about setting another deadline for the house to be on the market, he was a bit snotty but we are speaking again (with me in tears whilst he was hugging me goodbye). So he knows how upset I was about it

Need to crack on with my list though, maybe that will encourage him, if mine is up for sale

I like the money saving tip of drinking double vodka's as this is most cost effective. I has a large % of 2 bottles of wine on Sunday night (since no work the next day)

Happy thoughts keep you positive so :j:j:j:j

    damn those hormones!!

I think its a good plan to shame bf into action by selling yours first when he sees your massive bank balance after the sale has gone through he will soon want in on the action;)
