Long weekend, BF's birthday and an extra day off work - and I spent it all being ill, so feeling a bit sorry for myself as instead of spending the day doing bits and pieces at my house, I'm still a BF's in bed, snoozing off and on and can't even muster up any energy to do things at his house

Comedian was good apart from wanting to leave before the end and wishing he would shut up so I could go home to bed (spent that night wrapped in 2 dressing gowns yet still shivering), 2 people left at the interval due to all the swearing, lots of F words and C words but he was funny

With feeling ill didn't go house hunting area (does that make sense) should really have gone Saturday but that turned into fencegate - typically that the one they steal is the odd size piece, keep checking out the window to see if anymore have gone. BF has hammered some wedges in down the sides of the panels, so they are harder to get out

Think I'll have another snooze and wait for BF to come from work - probably be woken up with "What are you still doing here"

I too have got an awful cold, I tried to fool myself for a couple of days that it was just hayfever but am now pretty sure it is a cold as I feel awful and have no energy to do anything, hope it is short lived. I am desperate to climb into bed but am currently waiting for the plumber and I don't trust myself to wake up when he knocks as I feel I could sleep for a week. Hope you are better soon and the dreaded fence thief gets what they deserve, an infected splinter!

Thanks for the get well wishes, felling slightly better, not being sick anymore but still having high temperature/can't get warm episodes. Also seem to nearly have a cold, sneezing and bit of a drippy nose.

So still at BF's thinking of staying here tonight as well and then will defo have to go home tomorrow (shortage of underwear)

Plus point I have got some quotes for solicitors for selling and buying, also have read through the estate agents brochure and emailed them the corrections - apparently I have under-stairs storage!

Spent all day in bed, watching TV, surfing, sleeping after ringing in work sick this morning

Thinking of next bank holiday going to BF's sister in Dorset for a few days, which will be good, lots of drinking, she seems very insistent that we visit so hoping everything is with her

Feeling so much better, body back to normal temperature, spent all week of work and only left BF's house Thursday afternoon (wearing his boxers). Didn't wake up on Friday till 10 so that sort of decided that I wasn't going to work

Lovely sunny day today, been out sunbathing already in the garden, being a mad woman and washing all BF's clothes, laundry basket now empty apart from a stray sock that made a bid for freedom at the last minute

BF has decide on EA so pictures being taken Tuesday, HIP being done on Thursday, spending today staging the house - back bedroom will take ages to do though as once again it is a mess. BF has been in the loft and managed to fill the car with stuff to take the tip. I think if you got air miles for going the tip we would be holidaying in the Caribbean this year

Plan for me this week will be give my house a good clean and to sort out some of the cupboards that have been used to stash thing in, I must put blind back up as well in downstairs toilet and not just keep thinking about doing it

And also look forward to payday on Friday (that seems to have come round quick)

BF has also OP his mortgage by £1K, he's becoming obsessed (which is good), think he has his heart set on a 50% deposit on the house that we buy

    Glad you're feeling better :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Glad you're better, I don't think I've ever tried wearing my hubbys boxers, but desperate times and all that, hope that you manage to get the 50% deposit that would be ace. You and your bf will now be in competition in the house market, to see who sells first, hope you win;)
